Uninor Offers Unlimited Calling Plans

Uninor, a new entrant in the telecom sector, has a bouquet of 'Talk Unlimited Plans' that allow users to make unlimited calls for a fixed monthly rental. These new plans are valid in Uttar Pradesh.

Under one of these plans, users can make unlimited Uninor to Uninor calls after paying Rs. 37 per month. The company claims that users will not face any issues, as this is a brand new congestion free network. Another plan in the collection, the Talk Unlimited plan, offers unlimited calls, from Uninor to any network, for Rs. 197 per month.

" it is all about making it simple - one affordable monthly charge, no more worries about seconds and minutes and a network with no traffic jams," said Frode Haugen, EVP UP East hub, Uninor.

Talk Unlimited plans are available at all Uninor exclusive shops and with retailers selling Uninor connections across the state.

Unlimited calls for Rs. 197 is way cool... if the network is good. Does it have a FUP like RCom? Anybody has any idea when they will start services in Maharashtra?

Does Rs. 37 per month also includes Uninor to Uninor STD calls or is just for local calls ??? Also for Rs. 197 does it includes STD as well ???
