rapidshare Banned Reliance ip 123.237.xxx.xxx

so i called Reliance call center they are no reply on my call so you can use TATA Brondband. TATA Brondband it's Working

Rapidshare.com is inaccessible from Reliance NetConnect (115.x.x.x IP series) as well. I think it is the other way, Reliance seems to be blocking rapidshare.com

I tried a trace route and it showed that the lookup failed. So it is likely that they have blocked it at their DNS or their DNS must be having issues (meaning other domains could be having problems as well)

I have fixed it by manually adding RapidShare IP in the hosts file in my PC and I can access rapidshare.com

Since RapidShare has multiple servers, you may have to add all their IPs to your hosts file. Here is a list but an old one, so every IP may not be correct or updated now: http://maghia.free.fr/hosts.txt

I have used it with my broadband plus modem. works well.

I have heard same about BSNL as well!

Its not rapidshare thats blocking but as said by Arun its the other way round.

People Here Are So Helping like Mufaddal, Sadikk, Arun, Hetal Patel, Dkaile, Honest, Hitesh, Greatest. I Can Already See Rimweb As Popular As Xda-Dev In Near Future.

Change your DNS to Google or OpenDNS. Rapidshare must work fine then. Reliance BB tech team acknowledged problems with their DNS servers.

Working for me as well. Try opendns server.

Girls are like domain names, the ones I like are already taken..

Not true.
I'm using BSNL EVDO on my laptop and I have rapidshare premium account which I use everyday. BSNL wireline broadband also provides access to rapidshare. No issues..

I was not specifying EVDO anywhere. I am talking about the 1x modem that charges as low as 225/ pm!
