Ainol novo 7 tornados

Wanted a cheap tablet to make my dad start using Android devices... once he gets familiar can invest in more robust devices

Performance wise the device is good..

Cost wise... it turned out to be a stupid deal... Cost of device.. 2500approx.. Shipping.. 2500 approx... and if this was not enough.. the customs department levied anothe 40% tax so another 2000 approx.. Total cost turned out to tbe more than 7k...

I could have got a good device with that price.. anyways

Box, Manual and some preloaded software.. all are in chinese

I got a new MSI Laptop one week back...

Its features are

It has 12.1" LED screen

Core2Duo @ 2.4GHz, 4MB L2 Cache

DVD-RW drive

Finger print scanner

HDMI port

2GB RAM

500GB HDD @ 7200rpm

card reader slot

GigaBit LAN

phone jack

VGA port

2 x USB port

>3 hours battery life (I experienced, but mentioned as 2 there)

all @ JUST 1.8Kg

I bought for Rs18.5k (received via BlueDart) after applying Rs1500 OFF coupon from eBay Link is HERE

It is working SOLID (with Win7 Ultimate 64bit from seller side) and anyone want review or photos, I am ready to post... It looks somewhat cheap with plastic all around and a bit fatty, but it is more than a LOOT LO offer for a Core2Duo laptop, imho...

-----------

Other Electronic things, I bought (via GEB) are PantechBurst (LOCKED) @ Rs7427 (after 10% OFF coupon) and 2 batteries for ZTE FiveSpot (Verizon CDMA/GSM RUIM 3G/EVDO WiFi hotspot) and one battery for AT&T MiFi (3G WiFi hotspot)...

Actually some one listed if for $125 + 20 shipping http://www.ebay.com/itm/170933087879 and another 6700/- for duty & Shipping to India.

Its equivalent Epson has a bargained price of Rs. 37000/-. So I find my buy a real DEAL or say Diwali discount :P

Purchased a PC monitor to replace the ageing Samsung 17" CRT.

Make: Dell ... 3yr onsite warranty

Size: 18.5"

Display Type: LED backlit LCD

Resolution: 1366 x 768

Performance: Works as expected. I think there's not much to write about performance in these LCD montiors unless they are full HD. All look the same (they come in same resolution).
