LG Optimus S Cdma Android phone costs Rs 7500 in US. The same can be made to work in India. Search on Google and you will find hundreds of reviews about this device. Some magazines have given a more positive review comparing HTC Droid, Hero and Samsung Epic with LG Optimus S. Wonder why its not described on this forum.

surely faramroze these 2 cant hold a candle against the models u have mentioned; but they are good "entry" level phones.... but LG already has exact similar model here in its Optimus "One" which I have described as the best 10K android phone as on date in India...

Optimus One For GSM definately good bet... But for Imported CDMA Androids...We don't have such a value for money entry phone in India with this specs & performance...

This page gives more clues..... http://smartphoneben...-good-are-they/

Exactly Mr Rajan Mehta. Other handset that can be considered for an average user is Sanyo Zio. World is free to try out more alternatives and achieve cost worthiness. And, there are some LG CDMA handset models that we never heard of here, I mean in this country. Example. Lg Env2, Env3
