Recommended Posts

at last finalized a deal with local vendor.. :Boy Thumbs Up: @ 32.5k

Samsung NP300V3A-A03IN

Targus Backpack (no brandname)

Amkette 7 port powered USB HUB

Cooler Master NotePal U Stand Mini (w/3 USB Ports)

MS Optical Mini Mouse

Vendor is having only 1 Pc. in stock and there was some scratched on Silver Part. Asked him to get me a fresh piece and he promised me to supply by Monday.

Already negotiated, that if he fails in getting a fresh piece, will pay 32K only.. :P

^^^ go for intel dual core B970. It gives much better performance than AMD C60. I know the price difference is too much but then the performance is also an issue. My marketing guys have both and found performance of AMD very slow.

^^^ @Gaokar Laptop with serial port, not possible in current generation. You have to use USB to serial converter. In fact, I also have same problem. Intel and MS has killed serial and parallel ports. You do not get them in new laptops.

Bought this - http://www.infibeam....D.html?id=Brown at just 17K.

Fit and finish are excellent which I checked at a local store though performance yet to be fully checked. This seems a good alternative to netbooks as this is a full fledged laptop with DVD drive and HDMI port.

Has anyone tried any of the below models?

Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T (XE700T1C-A01IN)

Sony VAIO Duo 11 SVD11213CNB

Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13

I am tempted to go ahead with Samsung one?

Any suggestions?
