Irresistable Deals In Electronics, Gadgets, Mobiles, PC Hardware

Recommended Posts

^^ u can go for newly launched iBall Slide Tab - MRP Rs 14K, 3G/EVDO can be taken as it supports dongles via usb.

the iBall Slide is a good buy but only if you don't intend to use if for browsing out-of-doors, because a tablet with a 3G data card sticking out of it may not convenient to handle or sleek to look at.

This isn't an irresistible deal. HP Pre 3 is up for sale, but for 169.99 Pounds.

Rajan Bhai,

Looking for CDMA Tab which can be configured for Reliance...Any best deals either from GEB or from any rimweb member...?

Thanks

Haven't seen any recent deals from RIMweb members for CDMA tab. But why go for CDMA Tab with costly Data+MEID+Programming hassle?

If you really need data on the go, these are some of the good options in the economy budget range

  • Reliance 3G Tab GSM advance data packs are good compared to competition.
  • If you want unlocked in which any operator SIM card can be used, Spice Mi-720 is another option >> http://www.letsbuy.c...e-mi720-p-23409
  • Lastly there is one more option i mentioned here >> http://www.rimweb.in...post__p__240917 few days back. One variant of this tab has a SIM Card slot as i was told. This tab has better hardware spec than Reliance or Spice.

Looking for a good deal on 3tb hard disk

3TB for Rs 7,920 after discount code >> http://www.letsbuy.c...3000300-p-16622

Vaise world's first 4TB Go Flex External drive launched yesterday & available in US for $ 249 >> http://www.seagate.c...goflex-desk-4tb

I literally wrestled it out with shopyourworld.com to correct the specs on their page.. here is the updated one:

http://www.shopyourworld.com/Archos/specs-arnova.html

the 3G variant is Arnova 7C G2, http://arnovatech.com/products/g2/arn_7c/specs.html?country=gb〈=en . has a slower processor, and lacks rear camera. plus, it doesn't seems to be available anywhere in the world. not even on ebay/amazon. otherwise its the best in the segment.

out of Reliance 3G tab and Spice MI-720, which would you suggest? will spice be as good built quality as ZTE? plus it has Froyo while Reliance has Gingerbread.

out of Reliance 3G tab and Spice MI-720, which would you suggest? will spice be as good built quality as ZTE? plus it has Froyo while Reliance has Gingerbread.

Spice has higher 4200 mAh battery compared to Reliance 3400mAH, Android 2.2 instead of Android 2.3 on Reliance and unlocked to use any SIM compared to locked in Reliance. All other hardware specs are very similar and build quality will be similar too.

It all boils down to your usage pattern really to decide which one to go for. If you are going to use heavy on the go 3G data, go for Reliance as bundled long term plans are attractive whereas if you are going to use on the go 3G data ocassionally in small MB's, go for Spice.

BTW it is not mandatory to subscribe to advance data plans from Reliance. I was told by a Web World Head that you can also use either an existing Reliance GSM Sim/Buy a new one and subscribe to any of their 3G or GPRS plans. Only condition is that on an existing SIM, the discount of advance data rental is less in terms of lower download limit.

@manujgupta

It's not like beating Defy but Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17i at Rs 14,199 after icicilb discount code + 8GB Card >> http://www.letsbuy.c...ini-pro-p-20964 is another very viable option compared to Defy if you are considering it for your wife as you mentioned earlier. It has gorgeous looks, 1 Ghz Processor, 5 MP Cam with Flash, Secondary Cam for Video Calls, Slide out physical QWERT Keyboard still comfortable size as it's 3" Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine.

If you want Defy only, then can buy it from Ebay for Rs 14,639 >> http://cgi.ebay.in/M...#ht_3925wt_1139 with free gifts mentioned here >> http://shopping.ebay.in/carnival/ or from Letsbuy at Rs 14,199 after applying icicilb discount code with a free Jabra Bluetooth Headset >> http://www.letsbuy.c...y-mb525-p-13040

@rajanmehta

Thanks a lot Rajan Bhai for your help. Though am confused between the Defy and Mini Pro now. Have read a lot about both of them on the net. Many people have raised concern about the battery of the Mini Pro and the screen size. Have read that the screens size does pose limitations for many applications to be run on it

Also the seller on letsbuy does not mention the colour of the handset. If I buy this I would prefer it in white colour.

Please guide.

Thanks

OK. Dhundhege.

Thanks a lot Rajan Bhai for your help. Though am confused between the Defy and Mini Pro now.

Yes battery life is on the lower side in Mini Pro as it has a lower capacity battery. If you want white, it's available here >> http://www.flipkart....77-ecd4d2231691 + There are many actual user reviews there.

Still if you're not sure, Go for Defy then. It's a tried and tested proven workhorse.

I had called HP UK and asked about Pre 3 SRP GBP 69.99 and they confirmed it will not be sold direct by them. The eurostore is not HP direct but some other subsidiary. The only way to get a Pre 3 cheap is to take it on contract and buy out the contract rental.

@rajanmehta: Thanks a lot for all the help. Have finally bought Moto Defy from Letsbuy @ 14199 as suggested by you.

What made me decide against Mini Pro was its battery and weight. The phone has very bad reviews for its battery life. Checked out the phone at Gaffar Market in Delhi. It was available for Rs. 14500 with bill and 1 year warranty in white colour. The handset felt really heavy compared to my Incredible.

Thanks

Manuj

@sajokj - No warranty/service here in India.

@deepak - It will not work for Reliance out of box, you will have to get its MEID registered with Reliance, program it also.

Overall that of no use in spending 3840/- for buying, Rs. 500 or more for MEID and programming.

Better buy it from Sadikk ji or Tushar ji or any other trusted member of Rimweb, to avoid all these hassles.
