need a good tablet in 20k price range .

samsung galaxy Tab 2 P5100 (10.1") is available at saholic as well as indiaplaza for just 25900/- now (reduction of 20% in mrp by sammy due to release of ipad mini !!!)

http://www.saholic.c...b-p5100-1004675

http://www.indiaplaz...amsung01-10.htm

This tablet is really worth its salt, moreover the jellybean update has been released for it !!!

(also, Guru's, is there any coupon that I can use to reduce the price further???)

:hypocrite:

For india plaza you can further reduce it around Rs 1200+by using MASTCASH if you buy with master card.

check in ebay also for prices. ( for hdfc, icici, ingvysya, kotak) debit and credit cards ebay offers upto 7% discount on quoted prices.

Check this link for ebay discount codes http://www.dealsupto...d-offers-latest

With just 9 hours to go, we’ve been scouring the site to see what kind of deals are available and we’re quite frankly very disappointed. The first thing we noticed is that as with any sale in India, the price of the product first gets marked up and then a meager discount figure is appended to it. For example, we’re in need of a 1TB portable hard drive, which retails for anywhere between Rs. 5,500 – 5,900 on Flipkart, depending on the brand. When we visited the GOSF pages of the online retailers, we found that the same hard drive was marked up to Rs. 8,500, with a 35-40% discount, bringing the price back in the Rs. 5,800 range. Does that sound familiar? Yes people, welcome to sales in India.

We found the same pattern across many tech categories like cellphones, hard drives, laptops etc.

Though Samsung HDD deal is very good, would advise to stick with the other WD deal mentioned. These particular model of Samsung HDD is not original Samsung manufactured but a rebadged Seagate HDD after Samsung HDD business was taken over by it. There has been many complaints all over the web for this model failing immediately, DOA and other issues.

Makes good sense to stick to WD for just Rs 286 more.

I am looking for a Laptop for my sister came across a Ebay listing of a Dell Laptop special sale of 12/12/12

http://www.ebay.in/itm/Dell-Inspiron-15R-N5520-Intel-Core-i5-3210-2-5-GHz-3rd-Gen-8GB-RAM-1TB-HDD/330842630394?ssPageName=WDVW&rd=1&ih=014&category=173288&cmd=ViewItem#ht_3357wt_1139

This is a good config for this price but the only catch is the warranty is provided by Seller himself and not Dell. The seller feedback seems good would this be a good buy with just the seller warranty has anyone dealt with seller any help on this issue would be useful. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the instant reply Rajan Bhai so both the seller offer only seller warranty and not original warranty is that right.Would it cause any harm of not having Dell warranty as this is for my sister I dont want her to have any hassles with this warranty problem.Again Thanks in advance for the help

Both seller is offering seller warranty. Seller warranties for laptops are generally useless as most of them behind asterik & fine prints claim to provide software config issues warranty only. Even if they provide hardware failure warranty, it's difficult to believe they will be willing/able to procure the costly parts & bear the loss as they generally operate on low profit margins initially.

How can anyone assure you that you won't have any hassles? When you buy with seller warranty, it's a tradeoff between getting better/higher specs product at a lower cost then official company warranty product and you bearing the warranty risk. You can't eat your cake and have it too! Ultimately it's a chance one takes on the probability whether there will be a hardware failure within 1 year as after that both official/seller warranty products are on same footing.

Very True Rajan Bhai Company warranty/Seller Warranty/No warranty all are almost same as most products fail if they do only post warranty period so wont make big difference.Anyway thanks for the tradus link took the risk and plunge got the laptop for 38k after discount. Now lets hope we dont face hassles fingers crossed
