Looking good and no issues so far

The coloured icon in settings menu look good..

All my apps and content remain unscratched and only I had to reenter my gmail password once

Does flashing Dameon's Deodexed EB13 ROM over stock EB13 offer any benefits, other than ability to flash custom themes

u just cant say that froyo is no better than eclair

It depends on ur use

If u wanna use skype on phone or flash u will need froyo , theres no other way

dont expect much from CM coz its officially not supported ,

The phone reboot problem has been since all beta builds of froyo and it exists on many devices also in EB13 ....

Just finished doing a fresh wipe and install and the phone promptly rebooted on its own before i even installed any app. So guess its a problem with the update per se. If you Google for 'Froyo reboots' most phones have had this at one time or the other. Hope a fix comes out soon.

By the way for people with docks this thread solves the issue of lineout for audio

Radio appear to be ROM problem than radio ROM. I am on EB13 radio and noobnl eclair ROM and no issue of radio reset / recycle.

Froyo released by samsung seems to have lots of unresolved issues, so I decided to switch back to eclair.

I came to know that radio issue in in facinate EB01 froyo too.

Battery Backup on EB01-Fascinate is very pathetic, drains like water.

I was waiting like crazy for this and this has been a huge disappointment; I have not got the OTA update till now, otherwise I would have done it already and faced the music like you all; busy with other things in life, thats why missed this mellee' somehow... this seems a reliance centric issue as very few people are facing this issue in US (only those that use modded roms/configs like us), hence there is little hope that we will get any solution from them...

shame on you samsung...

I was correct, I used EB13 for about 45 minutes and reverted to DI18, concluding this is most terrible uo pdate. :Equivocado:

Sprint hotspot works fine after update. Frankly, post update, it’s not as bad as it's made out to be

hmm...But for me still no restarts....I will post how i did.

1. I downloaded the exe posted by Hetal and updated to EB13.

Then

2)Root using CWM 2.5

3)Flash Deoxidized EB13 here

4)Place Dual Filesystem Kernel on SDCARD here

5)Root using CWM 3.0.6 and reboot so filesystem can convert to Ext4

6)Flash Kernel that you placed on SD Card (during step 4)

After OTA update,...epic resets 2 -3 times a day, it resets so quickly that you cant even notice it. but Rest of all is simply fine & i really liked Froyo..but for this only reason

I want to roll back to Eclair DI18 Stock ROM, I tried to follow the links on android forms but required software download... some links aren't working, iam confused how may files should i download!!

So To roll back to Stock Rom Eclair DI18 from recent Froyo Update:

I have copied this content from another android fourm.. anyone please confirm this is correct or anything else is required to be downlaod prior to these steps for rollback to DI18

---

1. Download the following file and save it in your phones root directory (not any special folder) - which basically means when you use "USB storage" on your phone when it's plugged into your PC...drag the update.zip file into your phone where you see all the folders. Do NOT put it in any folder.

update.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download

http://www.4shared.com/file/AxJk14Oh/update.html

2. make sure its named update.zip and nothing else. if its named something else like update1.zip, change it to update.zip

3. turn phone off

4. Hold down camera, volume down and press power.

5. Use volume down to select SDCard: update.zip

6. Press Home on the capacitive buttons to select.

7. Phone should automatically install and reboot.

Edit: Finally the above might not be the proper method because I have been told to use ODIN method ... Thanks All
