It is for prepaid balance amount not for GPRS balance.

When I sent a SMS for "BAL" to 53670 , I got a message that "No default is configured".

dial *367

by dialing *367

if internet package is active you'll hear internet balance instead of standard voice balance, but its in different unit

for example,

for daily pack instead of 50MB, you'll hear balance 512rupees

for monthly pack its around 31000+(or something) for 3GB

hope this help, it works in prepaid(karnataka circle, probably everywhere)

For Odisha circle atleast dialing *367*3# gives the data balance in rupees rather than mb or gb.By charging 101 rupees I get balance of rupees 1 lakh.

Two ways to get the GPRS pack balance..

1- SMS 'MBAL' to 55333...

This will give balance in MB.

Ex: 2004.18 Mb

2- Call *367*3#

This will give balance in Rs...

Ex: 20522.82 Rs..

Both balance are same..

Question : how Rs and MB are same?

Answer: Convert that Rs in Paise and Result is your Balance in KB.

In above example 2052282 kb is the balance.

and To get this balance in Mb divide the Result by 1024.

and you will get 2004.18 MB.
