AnyDATA is an OEM. They manufacture for other brands, Carriers. Don't sell phones under their brand. Actually not well known for phones, mainly specialise in modems, routers etc.

The ASP-518C (WM 6.5) was displayed by AnyDATA at last year 2010 Mobile World Congress. Subsequently Philips launched it as Philips D908 in China market through China Telecom. It is available in China for about Rs 31,000. See this page http://www.hicdma.co...ail_300335.html

ASP-518S (Android 2.2) seems not to be launched anywhere. Rumour is that it will be displayed in this year Mobile World Congress starting from 9th Feb..Then some brand, carrier has to show interest and market it under their name. Quite a long road it seems if at all it appears here in India...

:previous:

I second it Genius.

May be Rajan is better than CID. May be we can tag him 'CBI'........I think 'RAW' is more suitable... :winko: :winko:

@Rajan, thanks for keeping the threads updated with latest information from reliable sources.
