I have heard somewhere that other operator SIM will work with the Reliance 3G data cards as they are not locked.

Sorry, I confused 3GSM with CDMA. CDMA modems are locked. GSM I am not aware.

the default dashboard comes with E173 certainly does not support call feature, but u can get the generic one from Huawei website!

Beetel branded MF190 has call feature, but Reliance branded one does not!

For huawei modems one can download mobilepartner from modemunlock.com for calls / sms etc. Huawei no longer maintains that but its there on that site.

The new lot of zte mf190 is locked over reliance network. It is the best device among all the three models and can be unlocked by dc unlocker

Dear Friends,

Need your suggestions for my niece who needs an internet connection. Actually I am using MTS for last 5-6 months and am quite satisfied with it and suggested her it too, but she is more keen to use Reliance 3G through unlocked dongle available in market. Pls suggest what will be better ?
