Hi Guys,

just got my Motorola Nvidia Tegra dual core 4.3" World Phone CDMA/GSM phone. Cdma yet not unlocked GSM works out of the box no unlocking required even 3g data works.

just reading the spec. you cannot use 3g on gsm correct. So if u need the full experience u will need the cdma. There should be something in which u can use the 3g in cdma and gsm

^ ^ 3G with GSM is possible in this device as it works on the UMTS frequency band of 850, 1900, 2100 Mhz and Indian telecom operators are offering 3G data services on the 2100 Mhz band.

You must have read the specs in gsmarena :)

you bet i did so then if it would work they would have mentioned na 3g in xyz frequency. They mention 3g only in cdma. Have u tried it in gsm

Farook has already confirmed 3G working on his Mobile (Check the 1st post) so no point of arguing

Also Specs tell the same 3G will work

3g works just fine, infact i tried both with vodafone and my old MTNL 3g sim, this is MTNL 3g speedtest.

Phone is now rooted, unlocked bootloader is on its way at xda so this phone is going to be a lot of fun.

Boot loader unlocked, Rooted, Clockwork recovery loaded now just have to wait for the rom to turn up.

Seems like phone having HSDPA only, HSUPA.

Anyone knows the HSDPA speeds?

Motorla and unlocked boot loaders? Since when Motorola became SANE? Is it true for other moto phones as well?

my suggestion would be do not go for MTS u do not get proper support and stuff. go for reliance where even if u have problems there are very knowledgeable people on this forum who can help u
