Handset is really good.

Slow and steady ZTE products and Huawei products are gaining acceptance

i bought mtag in dec. i got the offer for 150 min 150 sms and 150mb for 1 year. but this is added every month.

few days back i had a problem with this offer. for the month of feb it expired on 28th and next month balance was not added till 2nd march.

i made a lot many complains with CC and mts store. so i would suggest all the user to pl check the balance and check every month.

the mobile mtag is far better than livewire. so dont look at the price but go for Mtag..

Battery back up is to low to use the phone for applications.

U can use only for voice and texting to get the back up of one day.

If you start using for internet , music and any other application you wont get more that half day back up

Very good, now Android CDMA handset is available for less than Rs. 3,000

^^^ And with reasonable data tariff at 3.1 mbps speed.

FM, MP3, Camera, Java, GPRS, email GSM phones above Rs2000 are not attrractive compared with features of Spice Android MI270 at Rs 3400

Now multimedia CDMA phones above Rs2000 will not be attrractive compared with features of Livewire.

Sure this price will change market equations.

Saket says freebies. if this includes Jabra Bluetooth headset then it is a steal.

Dear Saket, actually the freebie is only for one month (first month).

If you want to get the benefit for rest of the 11 months then you have to compulsorily topup your account with STV of Rs.62/- every month. Which comes to 62 x 11 = Rs.682/- extra on total price. :)

MTS seems to have revised the scheme and made it extremely attractive with NEW plan voucher 3.

It costs just Rs. 3 with validity of 365 days and apparently gives you free 150 Mins, 150 SMS & 150MB per month for 12 months.

This is available in Mumbai circle for Mtag & Livewire smartphones.

Yes.......... Some of the plans of MTS is very attractive. It seems MTS is getting aggressive despite the reports of loss.

my guess mts will be winding up its operations after telenor does......now tht telenor has made its decision to do away with its losses of 14k crores mts will hv very little options left..still might be coz russia has been india's ally for long india might find a way to retain mts but other than tht the options hv been limited for mts too...

@viper_in_blood

MTS invested more than Telenor, as MTS has basic 2G services + high speed 3G-EVDO network. Not only that Evdo rev B-phase II came first in the world from them. Also Russia Govt is one of the stake holders in Sistema. I don't think MTS will leave like Telenor.
