I have opted for 123.00 for 1Gb plan in "delhi circle" - is there any better plan that anyone could suggest. I have a moderate usage and would not like to spend more on it.

Thanks

I have called up customer care last month for activating 1GB plan in my mobile as i heard it is available for Rs.94/-, But when I called they told that 1GB cost Rs.125/- and the Rs.94/- plan is stopped( Mine is Kerala circle).

But 2 of my colleagues got 1GB plan for Rs.94/- after I activated( may be 2 weeks later) , which I came to know recently. I don't understand how did this happen. I called up customer care again to confirm the data pack rate but they told Rs.94/- plan is no longer active.

Any idea what is the correct for 1GB plan?

1GB for Rs 94 is no longer available. But it can be activated on special approvals and depends on how you follow up.

Any idea how the approval part work? Through customer care it is not possible I guess.

Does anyone know the details of 3GMobileNet246_2GB_0.3P plan please?

I had asked for RNC_225_2.5GB_10P but they gave RNC_2G_1X_225_2.5GB_10P and insisted that even though it says 1X it will give upto 3.1Mbps.

I refused to agree to that logic then they have switched me over to 3GMobileNet246_2GB_0.3P with Rs 246 rental. They seem to be adamant that it is a 3G plan but have no answer as to how CDMA has 3G and not EVDO.

Where can I fund the latest available evdo plans for reliance CDMA?

Is this link for 1x data or evdo?http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/rworld/HTML/MobileNet.html#an3

Yes. See the down below in the link mentioned. No seperate plans for EVDO which

works in only in CDMA. By default in EVDO is, same plans of 1X .

3 new CDMA postpaid data plans launched by RCom. Old plans are no longer available for subscription.

Rs 98 for 650 MB

Rs 125 for 1 GB

Rs 225 for 2.5 GB

If your handset support EVDO, then you can avail it in the above plans. This is what I confirmed with CC staff.

Don't rely on their website. I happened to talk to the cc people hence found this info. Even these plans vary from circle to circle. Just call cc or use live chat and select a suitable plan.

So a user activates Rs 98 1GB pack on his CDMA number.

What is he expected to see on the device? 1x or 3G?

What would be the speed for this plan?

If a user has HSD activated on his number, was previously getting 3G, would he be seeing 1x post activation of this plan?

IMHO, CDMA is the biggest waste of time and evergy I ever had. I do not even see a value proposition in terms of saving money.

I was about to answer your queries but your last statement made me think twice. If you have formed an opinion already then there isn't much to go from here.

But I am sure others on our forum are much more kind. Which cdma handset has led you to this state by the way?

Baba, then I will ask again

So a user activates Rs. 98 1GB per month for 6 months, pack on his CDMA number.

What is he expected to see on the device? 1x or 3G?

What would be the speed for this plan?

Problem is, evdo is activated but I rarely get speed greater than 0.3mbps. I am using 94 plan and S3.

City: hyderabad, ap

For ₹ 94/- you get EvDO which is higher speed and many on forums are using it. Your net speed depends on many factors. I'm sure you will find people in Hyderabad using this voucher and getting higher speeds. Better check your instrument and also try in other area. There could be possibility that EvDO is not activated yet on your number.

@ piyushj

A few of my observations...

I personally did not get good Evdo speed on S3 or other Samsung devices. This is one of the reasons I prefer HTC devices.

The max I got on S3 is 800kbps.

On HTC EVO 4G LTE its more than 1.5 Mbps max upto 2.5 Mbps....

post-47370-139080198082_thumb.jpg

If u r getting more than 144 kbps then your Evdo is active. Ping below 250 or 300 also shows that Evdo is active n working...

You may raise a complaint of slow Evdo speed, and expect a resolution....

MobileNet94 is discontinued from May as per the information provided by CC.

The alternative plan is RNC_2G_1X_98_650MB_10P. Rs. 98 for 650 MB for 30 days and 10p/10kb after 650 mb.
