Samsung Epic 4G GPS (Google Maps) Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I am a epic 4 G user since last 1 Month with Tata indicom. I was using the google Maps and it was telling me the accurate location or position of mine all the time. But all of a sudden i started facing the issue with some PRL version and i was not able to use even EVDO there. Then got the reconfigration by parin online and evdo starting works fine.

However now days i am facing a strange problem with GPS position with this model. Once i am opening up the google Maps and checking my current position, Its always telling my position wrong around 1.8 - 2.2 kilometer far from my cusrrent position. Earlier it was working fine. I was checking with the xdadevelper site also even they had some GPS_FIX.zip file there but i dont want to take any panga with evdo settings again. So need help on that how can i fix the Google Maps issue. I tried the Factory Reset of phone already tried some GPS fixes application from market but nothing works.

Well i checked that Dhiraj Kaile sir already posted some update on Epic 4g alot but even that cold start didnt work on GingerBread 2.3.

Please help me.

Thankxxx
