Sir, why don't you test RELIANCE CDMA. It would be helpful to reliance users.

Thanks and regards

@ 'nellorian', Infocus M810 supports all CDMA SIMs, Tested with Reliance, Tata and MTS. The phone is same like 'ZTE grand S2' in supporting bands. Earlier 'kamalz' tested with Reliance CDMA and posted his experience in this forum with screen shots.Seeing his post I bought this phone. This phone is available for Rs 9,999/- in snapdeal.

@ 'commonman' sorry, don't know about the 4G 40band support, there is no specifications in their catalog booklet.

Hi Gurbir Singh,

Can you please share what is your experience till using Infocus M180 for Reliance CDMA service?

Data and call services working fine?

Any heating issue?

Any SW or HW problem you faced?

How is gaming experience and also how is CAmera quality?

I am planning to purchase this, if above things are satisfactory.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Kapil,

DId you test Voice call and Data both on M810?

When using Reliance CDMA OMH SIM, do we have to make any manual settings or it is done automatically?

Please advise.

THanks.

Raj.

Infocus M810,

Hello fellow CDMA fans,

I was closely stalking this thread in search for a CDMA smartphone, finally after confirmation got the infocus m810, it was delivered today, and I am using reliance CDMA on it.

Quick summary:

Pros:

Its a looker, it may not be to everybody's taste but the device is well build comparable to midrange devices. Balanced weight.

It supports EVDO Rev A. I'm in Mumbai and getting speeds around 1mbps, even though speed test vary, browsing is considerably fast at par with reliance 3g.

Display is good...... For the price.

Audio is surprising, not overly loud but good bassy, doesn't sound flat but doesn't sound too rich either.

Has USB OTG, and supports USB DAC (USB sound card)

Camera daylight photos are acceptable. Indoor photos are granny.

Cons:

Heats up, it does get uncomfortable to hold doing heavy tasks, now Mumbai is quite hot ATM it may have the affect whereas using in an A/c room i didn't feel much heat. I do not play games so can't comment but I suppose it will be uncomfortable to play, there is however a thermal warning if it gets too hot.

Camera could be better.

Single sim and doesn't support airtel 4g but will support the upcoming rjio fdd lte and airtel fdd lte.

Small things that matter.

Has a micro SD slot using 32gb in it.

It doesn't lag as such but due to the metal frame some time the touch might not respond if you hold it in an awkward way.

Is designed with left hand users in mind all controls are on the left looks a lot like xperia z1.

Smudges everywhere.

Got 1gb from reliance free.

That's it for now will update in a couple of days as I used it on the battery life etc, over all its a niche phone for people looking at CDMA on a budget

This is my first post please excuse any mistakes, typing from the same phone.

Hi Gurbir,

As I saw on Ebay, there are two handsets listed.

M810: Says CDMA supported.

M810 4G: No mentioning of CDMA.

Are there two models in market? DO you have any idea?

What is your model number? Does your phone support also 4G.

I want to use Reliance CDMA OMH SIM in this.

Thanks.

Raj.

@ rajnc99

DId you test Voice call and Data both on M810?

Voice and data tested with MTS OMH SIM. When incoming or out going call is active download interrupts and resumes download after disconnecting call.

When using Reliance CDMA OMH SIM, do we have to make any manual settings or it is done automatically?

We can manually set network settings. The following settings works with CDMA SIM (1) Global, (2) Global without 4G, (3) 1x+EVDO+4G, (4) 1x+EVDO, (5) 1x only.

We can manually add APN (Access Point Name) settings. Can add more than one APN settings and can select one APN.

:previous:

There is no 2 variants of Infocus M810. There is only one model of Infocus M810 and only in one colour (front black and back side is gold). The same phone supports both GSM and CDMA (only 1 micro SIM slot in phone, the same SIM slot work for CDMA and GSM). The phone works as a GSM phone when GSM SIM is inserted and the same phone works as a CDMA phone when CDMA SIM is inserted. This same phone supports GSM 2G,3G & 4G and also CDMA 1x, EVDO Rev A & EVDO Rev B.

I was using Lenovo A600e for 2 years. Now switched to GlobalSpace Jivepro plus from this month.

Specs:

Sim: CDMA/GSM dual sim

Screen: 5 inches, 540 x 960 resolution

Dimensions: 8.8 x 73 x 144

Weight: 150g

Android: 4.3 JB

Back Camera: 8Mp

RAM: 1GB

Internal memory: 4GB

Yes, Its clearly mentioned on Flipkart as well as HTC India. The phone has all good Specs but the only glitch is somewhat low capacity battery. A 3200-3500 mAh Battery would have made it a really strong phone.
