Above settings worked .Thanks kapil

AC 2746 has external antenna socket it its side.Though i did not remove and check the rubber plug, i think it is socket

external antena is costing Rs 3200 which is high cost,I think not worth investing in the days of phasing out of cdma technology

Alternative method of external antenna is : Connect a wire antenna port and old CD and keep the CD near by window. It works for me with BSNL dongle. Try at once and give feed back

I have MTS Blaze 5.0 (unlocked). I just put TATA CDMA RUIM in it and everything just started working. Did not need to edit any settings. 1x/EVDO is just working great

It is not working anymore. I did last recharge on 28th Dec for Rs 94 that time i got 5 GB. In February when i tried recharging for Rs 94 it got declined. Only Rs 95 worked for 1 GB . Looks like they updated their systems their also.

But still 255 (or 256 not sure) Rs 4GB EVDO data is good enough, imho...

My last successful recharge of Rs. 94 is 9th January 2015. Now I am doing 256 Recharge and getting 4gb.

Tata Indicom's Rs 256 recharge now gives a mere 2GB 3G data. It appears they have increased the tariffs. No idea about postpaid 94 plan.

Yes, they increased charges all over India now. charging Rs 126 for 1 GB data.

I am looking for a dongle to use with my Reliance CDMA SIM (which has got data working fine on my mobile)

Requirements are simple and just like everyone else.

This will be my backup Internet connection. I plan to use TP Link router (e.g. 3020) which will create another WiFi network at home.

The dongle could be EC306 - I have read that it supports external antenna, but the ebay seller states that as soon as the device is unlocked the external antenna support is also gone.

So, the device that he is selling (less than Rs. 1000), though unlocked, will not support external antenna.

I also understand that there is no proper antenna socket that is exposed by EC306, which means, we need to remove the plastic cover and use a blade to remove bits of the internal antenna first.

Has anyone in India done this? Some pictures will be fine.

Device has to support EVDO Rev. B (Reliance SIM). I will have to place it in the balcony since signal strength is quite low in the house.
