Huawei Ascend C8812 - CDMA SIM Android With 1 Ghz Processor, Android 4 ICS, EVDO

This has just been launched in China Market few days back.

It is perhaps the rare CDMA Android with Ice Cream Sandwich which also has CDMA SIM Card support.

Though targetted as a Budget handset but Specs are nice.

It is selling between US $ 180 to US $ 220 on some chinese online websites.

This may be a viable option for CDMA users in india who are not getting any decent specs OFFICIAL CDMA Android with SIM Support. Huawei should bring this to the Indian Market.

I am loving this brand more & more lately. They even showed the super thing yet powerful phone at CES 2012

called Ascend P1 which beats Samsung GS II as well.

The P1 S features a 4.3″ Super AMOLED qHD 960 x 540 touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass, and ships with Google’s latest Android flagship Ice Cream Sandwich onboard. The device is, according to Huawei, “impossibly thin”, measuring just 6.68mm versus 9.3mm for the iPhone 4S, and 7.1mm for the Moto Razr.

This ICS handset is running on a 1.5GHZ dual core Cortex A9 processor paired with SGX 540 graphic processor and 1 GB of RAM. On the front is a 1.3-megapixel camera to complement the 8-megapixel shooter in the rear, and both shoot HD video at 720p and 1080p respectively. This thin profile only carries a 1670 mAh which might not be a good news for someone who don’t always charge their phone. Everything is looking good, it will comes to the world’s major markets in Q2 2012.

if this handset arrives with omh logo... it will be selling like a hot cake in this price tag. but this is totally depends on huawei. But one hope now a days they are acting like individual co rather than fully operator dependent.
