Not related to RevB in strict sense, but as it is related to things being discussed here so let me ask one question from Gurus here only

Is it possible to update PRL on already activated RUIM? If yes please tell the procedure

Am asking as I have pretty old RUIM (activated 5 years ago). Being used only for voice. But somehow I now see the signals too weak and fluctuating in my area. It is practically not working condition. Am surprised how can RCDMA network like this for continuous 9-11 months now in my area which is pretty much in center of big town. So can it be due to old PRL on my SIM? Can updating PRL help if it is possible in first place (please don't give the solution to replace the SIM, I know of that option. I don't use RCDMA as my primary phone anymore so don't bother to spend Rs. 100 on SIM replacement. The RCDMA connection is just lying in case anyone with old number calls up and I can call back & give the new number)

Since last 1 week I am facing EVDO connectivity issue with my HTC desire 816 DS. When data is not connected, it shows 1X/evdo rev A/evdo rev B. but as soon as I connect the data it take some time(that usual) to connect ans switches to 1X. Not always connect to 1X, sometimes connect to evdo rev A too, but most of the time on 1X. Also, since last few days only, I am seeing Rev B signal in my area(Chembur, Mumbai)

At the same time my Moto G is firm with EVDO A all time. please share the possible fixes.

thanks
