::: VA ::: 531 Report post Posted October 1, 2012 I recently bought Promise PCI to IDE adapter with Fasttrack 376 controller. I am running win 7 64bit on my dell with sata hdd. the motherboard doesnt have IDE onboard. so i installed this adapter to connect my old IDE hard drive. Its detected in windows device manager as raid controller but cant find its drivers. the drivers that came along didnt work. in bios setup it shows too as Raid on PCI slot. but when you just boot it says Fastrack 376 scanning IDE no devices attached and bios is not installed. then my machine starts normally in my current win 7 sata hdd.
