best unlocked ruim based cdma datacard is Micromax 300C

available for Rs. 1825.00 @ snapdeal.

310c heats a lot while using EVDO. Had used it for couple of days with reliance.

No offense.. but I have been using micromax mmx 310c continuously 10 hours per day for past 8 months, it is working perfect.

If i cover it, it gets heated, but if its kept open, its fine.

The apn for this has to be defined if it picks up on its own from the ruim like in the case of omh based handset. I want to use tata cdma evdo

i tried to connect using tata cdma omh ruim on a unlocked modem. it didn;t work!

photon username password - internet/internet does not work!

even many imported smartphone users on rimweb nt able to connect to net using tata cdma.

i heard that tata cdma corporate users are asked to connect via tata zone for free internet access (BREW platform probably), but there is no apk file is found.

Micromax 300C works fine on 1x & EVDO with TATA Docomo CDMA. Make sure username is "yourmobilenumber@@pda.ttsl.in" & password "internet"

Tested with BSNL, RIM also on both 1x & EVDO.

Sorry for the typing error, it is 'yourmobilenumber@pda.ttsl.in'

e.g.

username: 9208xxxxxx@@pda.ttsl.in

password: internet

Works fine with UP East circle's RUIM (Tata Docomo CDMA)

@abhi5891

It worked!!

but on my second recharge the network often shifts to 1x from evdo. I have 14 INR in main balance. When tried to connect over 1x, it is getting remote computer does not response = Error 678.

Any guess why it is happening?

Btw what is the user/pass for BSNL EVDO in UPE?

Great, your problem is fixed now.

Most likely you are not getting full EVDO signal or 1x signal is much better than EVDO, so it shifts to 1x. Try changing your data card's position to catch better signal. Due to overloaded 1x network, I guess you are getting 678 error as modem couldn't make successful authorization. Try to connect in Off-peak hours.

EVDO is not enabled by default in UPE or I guess in entire North zone of BSNL CDMA network. You need to contact BSNL to get EVDO activated to use internet. Username & password should be same '165'.

A confusion - If I put a prepaid RCDMA OMH SIM in a RUIM based EVDO unlocked dongle, then can I recharge it with available NetConnect+ HSD prepaid plans listed at http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/internet/wireless_internet.html and get the data?

Searching in the forum looks like HSD recharges are locked to Reliance sold non-RUIM dongles. Is it so? Can't we get NetConnect+ recharges work on normal OMH EVDO enabled SIM to be used with RUIM EVDO unlocked dongle or Smartphone?

I am using EC315 Tata Photon Max with WiFi with my normal Reliance CDMA prepaid SIM.

Looks like this does not connect to EVDO Rev.B at all.
