Strange. However I have yet to put the phone in airplane mode to experience this issue. Zero issues faced otherwise till date, except that activation message which is resting in my notification bar.

Just got a 270+MB update from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2

Phone seems much smoother and faster. Camera has now got GPS tagging. Home screens scroll all the way around now. Lots of screen tips. Multi Window now easier. Other features are still to be searched.

@Dhiraj wanted to know whether Temple Run 2 and Subway Surf are crashing or not after the update. Mine are crashing and also found on net the report of crashing apps.

Just checked Subway Surf which my son had installed and that's playing all right. Otherwise no other game is installed on my phone. No other app has crashed so far.

Well most of the things about the phone are common between the CDMA and gsm versions right?

It's not uncommon. We do have Galaxy S4 topic where discussion for both GSM/CDMA version have continued concurrently.

Well in that case. ..

Love the size. I have big hands.

It's fast and stable

Larger battery helps me drive it hard all day.

Unless you have issues with is size, go for it !

This has been one of the best phones of my life till date. The S3 and S4 batteries are diminutive in comparison and don't last a full days work. This is a complete workhorse. I got a S4 for my BIL (on his insistence) and that looks so downmarket. It's hard to believe that S4 is a Samsung!! Looks more like a Chinese crap to me.

Note II on the other hand is a phone you can't go wrong with and after a few days of its usage all other displays will look... well, puny in comparison.

I agree with all the praises for the note 2.

Been using it since last 4 months I guess. Best voice quality I have ever experienced, strongest signal strength, display indeed punes all other screen sizes, camera is fantastic, and on top the stylus function is tremendous, pretty useful for a guy like me, who has to make note of consultations and important engagements every now and again on the go.

Simply love the built qulaity and the awesome battery backup.

Data at times feels slower, but that's Samsung for us, data speed have been slower with all Samsung handsets here in Delhi or may be in the areas where I live and work.

All in all still at top of the ladder note 2 is.

sent from my NOTE II, yupp size does matter.

You tube is working perfectly. All proxy servers should be 0.0.0.0

Facing the Youtube issue (as Javed has mentioned), i tried doing what DK and Doc have suggested but i see no Multimedia option under the 'Others' menu (in ##3282# menu). Am using a Sprint note 2, any pointers?
