Hi this is my first day here!!! I downloaded the bitpim from the above mentioned location and its installed on my system.

Im using LG 6130 and this s/w doesnt seem to connect to the phone I get the foolowing error "COM1: Could not open port: (5, 'CreateFile', 'Access is denied')"

Any idea why this is happening?

May be u set Always Lock mode?

If yes then disable it and try again.

bbut Duh! what does it do for me? I have a 5130 and the sync software that came on the datacable CD. :confuse:

U can use bitpim for knowing Security code, if u forget it.

And also SPC code (I'm not sure whether it shows or not).

SPC stands for Service Programming Code and used in many other s/w.

newer version is not working. can anybody give me the link to the older version. it gives me error that unable to convert to brew.

i'm using lgrd2030

any help regarding this is welcome .

Either open UniCDMA and click on HF -> DM button.

or open Hyper Terminal and give command AT$QCDMG

Both of them should help u...

I do not think u can do that considering Nokia 6255 does not use a Qualcomm Chip. it uses its own propertiary OS (Nokia OS). so u cannot mate!

at least for now

Well, actually none of the handsets available on Reliance network are listed in their list of supported handsets.

You would have to use trial & error for selecting the handset model in bitpim which allows you to connect successfully to your handset.

Yes, this software could be used with 6130, but the ringtones folder is hidden and so are other "useful" folders. So till date no one has been able to do anything useful on this handset.

i am not able to connect with lg rd 2030 with usb cable, if anyone have tried plz tel me the settings needed.

Can anybody guide how to connect Bitpim when data baud in phone(LG2030/2230) is set to 230k and phone is locked. Bitpim gets succesfully conected when databaud is 115k. But its not possible to change baud when phone lock is unknown.

Pls Guide.

Use USB Data Cable and connect u r Phone to Bitpim it Tries to Connect to it. If u Connect serial cable it says 230k not supported for USB it tries to Connect
