Please suggest Android/Windows handset for wife

Recommended Posts

Guys, my wife been using her Samsung Wave on Bada platform since two years which is the touch and slider keypad type handset. She now wants to upgrade to android or windows touchscreen handset as that slider keypad was not even used by her till now, so a full touch screen one.

Requirement is basic for bit of net usage for mails, FB,WSAP and all

Budget is aprox 10K at the most can stretch till 13k.

Suggestions please.

Is the most talked Micromax HD worth spending 14grands as have never used this brand nor anyone from group.Sammy, htc, nokia,BB are the usual things to see and experience so far.

I recently got a S2 (Epic Touch 4G) from Sadikk at 12K. That's a cracker of a deal for a handset of that class. I also had got a Photon 4G for my daughter at 13.5K but I feel that the S2 is a much better handset.

Galaxy nexus is better than s2 imo.

Don't go for a windows phone unless no apps are required.

If going for windows then consider HTC 8s or Nokia lumia 620

You can opt for Desire VC. It is Dual active CDMA+GSM with OMH support. Little over stretch on the budget.
