Its the ultimate aka super factory reset.
It resets all settings to the original factory settings, as of the phone has just come out of the factory.
That's why I said it might, just might ask for activation

If you mean hard reset through recovery menu, I have already done that.

In the keypad punch in the ##786# and hit ok

##786# or even *#*#786#*#* are not working.

Any workaround to access this menu?

@amtrag You will need to reboot to bootloader and run the below commands in bootloader

1. fastboot devices (will show your device name)

2. fastboot erase modemst1

3. fastboot erase modemst2

4. fastboot erase cache

5. fastboot reboot

You should have network visible again now.

I flashed the ota ROM 4.4.0.. by connecting to computer through USB.
Phone got rebooted and voila, the network appeared! Now everything is working fine again.
