Thanks Prihir/Aalok/Kalpesh/Chirag for your valuable inputs.

Bought the 10400 mAh Ambrane PowerBank from Paytm for 1349/-.

Will test once I receive but it says it will take 7-9 days :(

Have never bought anything from Paytm so hoping its a smooth experience.

Dear Friends,

Please suggest me a good Router for WiFi connectivity based on below details:

1. I am using Broadband connection thru Cable Net

2. It should have sufficient connectivity in 2 BHK

3. It can be functional simultaneously for 3 devices, either mobiles or laptops

4. It should be with proper warranty and customer service base

5. Budget is around 2k

Please suggest the good Router and online deals.

Thanks in advance.

Laptop Mode and Tablet Mode

or

Acer Aspire Switch 10

Full Windows 8 + MS Office, 64GB eMMC + 500GB HDD

Pros:

Better Looking

Laptop Mode, Tent Mode, Tablet Mode and Display Mode

Better Docking Mechanism (people complained on net that their asus screen break while docking/undocking)

Thinner

Better Brighter Display

Cons:

No USB 3.0

Battery Life is Less than Asus

For E-mails, accounts, documents, excel sheets and net surfing.

One more disadvantage with Transformer is it is charged using 2amp Micro USB charger which takes hell lot of time to fully charge.

If it's for your dad as you said then you can look at moto e and Asus zenfone 4 (second gen. With 4.5" screen).

Both are lovely to use and beautiful to hold.

Will still recommend the T100 as Acer will stutter apart from Web browsing. Have used both and didn't much like the lagging Switch 10.

Surface 2 RT, I've no idea. Specs look good. Seems less resource intensive, hence lower lags.

I recently purchased HP Slate 500 from eBay.com for 150$. I loaded windows 10 technical preview and working great. 5 hours battery life for browsing etc. 2.5 hours battery life for watching movie. Consider to import it. if you opt for it, I will guide you how to load windows 10 and drivers.

Hi, I have been looking for a CDMA+GSM dumbphone for past one month. Looking for dumbphone as they provide long battery backup.

My requirements:

  • Good call/voice quality.
  • 3.5mm headphone jack.
  • mini/micro USB charging point.
  • Low SAR value.
  • Auto call recording for GSM calls.
  • Option for User defined Call/SMS ring tones.
  • budget upto 2.5K.

Brand is not important if my requirements are fulfilled.

I have seen the following models and don;t find them suitable for the reasons mentioned:

  1. Lava KKT31C - No 3.5mm jack, High SAR.
  2. Intex GC5050 - No 3.5mm jack.
  3. Intex GC5060 - High SAR, voice/signal quality issues.
  4. MMX GC232 - No 3.5mm Jack, (Other Micromax C+G models have high SAR value)
  5. ZTE D286 - Not enough battery backup.
  6. Lava GC141 - Voice quality issues, fix ring tones for calls/sms.
  7. Samsung mobs-Have their own proprietry charging/headphone ports.

If you are using a C+G dumbphone, that may fulfil my requirements, please let me know.

Thank you..

Request suggestions for best & Economical WiFi Range Extender / Signal Booster.

Preferably Wall socket Design. (To use in residence - limited coverage is sufficient)

Here is one in flipkart (NetGear) for Rs2549/-

Connect it to the place where you get signal from base modem/router (as seen in the video above)... For more infos, see the review page... Please remember that, you can't use this in absolutely zero signal area.. If you want to use this in zero wifi signal area, plug this in halfway between base router and the reqd room, where you are getting signal... You may NOT get same FULL speed as base router/modem...

Another one cheaper, but may NOT be as good as above one is here again from NetGear for Rs1549/-

But I would recommend connecting a wireless router via LAN cable from the base-router, as you will get same FULL speed as base router/modem, imho...
