I too got this update. It resolved the Network Name for Reliance CDMA and SMS problem with RCDMA.

Now on all HTC dual network phones that will be introduced in India, China, Russia, Ukraine and such, mostly having more Chinese footprints inside. Very soon there will be unified HTC firmware repository for Asia manufactured HTC phones.

Has anyone checked if they are getting Evdo rev B signals on rcdma with this phone? I had seen one post on Google plus shared by hetal Bhai which showed signal info as Reliance cdma evdo rev b.

Hi

This is not the Dual Sim Version but the Verizon one

My Friend is using an HTC One GSM/CDMA OMH Based and I am seeing a weird issue in SMS. Some messages come in and it does not take the name from contact

It takes the Number and replaces 0 with D and 09810050808 will display as D981DD5D8D8

I have tried searching everywhere but I am not able to resolve it anyways. Has any Guru done or solved this

Kindly help

Regards

Rohit Gaur

Hi,

Slot 1 has 3G both in CDMA or GSM technology. Slot 2 can be used for GSM only without 3G. Hope it clears your doubt.

Sent from my HTC One dual sim using Tapatalk 2

Dear

Understand the point that data will be active for one SIM either slot 1 or slot2. Accordingly you will get speed. SIM 1 CDMA will give you upto 3.1mbps if evdo is activated & SIM 2 gsm will give you upto 256 kbps on edge.

Sent from my HTC One dual sim using Tapatalk 2

Hi Nitin,

I believe you are not using stock ROM.

I am using stock rom only. Can't risk my cdma connection on sim 1 since it's my official account. Have you registered for evdo? U can choose which data plan to use i.e evdo or 1x but I don't think this has anything to do with receiving sms.

I checked HTC One official Facebook page and there also many people have reported this issue. Kind of surprises me since I never faced any issue. But yes I did get a new sim after buying this handset since my number was programmed earlier on DROID razr which I got cut since Reliance does not give micro sim in cdma.
