HTC One Dual SIM CDMA + GSM 802D

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I am travelling to US and am NOT able to use 3G services here on my SIM1

Even though i have confirmed from Service provider that the frequency they use is 2100 Mhz and this is supported by HTC One Dual sim.

Can any one help me if there is any different setting, i ahve tried Global mode, GSM/UMTS mode and it still wont connect to 3G Network, when i put the sim in other mobile it connects to 3G.

Also is teh new HTC One E8 dual same as this one and supports EVDO CDMA and 3G on SIM1?

awaiting for your reply.

regards,

Manish

If you're phone is with Sprint or Verizon then it wouldn't work. Although unlocked still it doesn't work.

I guess that's how the arrangement is. I had my HTC one m7 and I was not able to connect AT&T.

finally found a 2 way call recording app which works on this phone

works on the following HTC phones

HTC One M8 don't need root, just install and go.

This app is the only solution in the world for following HTC phones without root, it records calls perfectly in two directions.
- HTC One dual sim (HTC 802t, 802w, 802d)
- HTC Desire 816t, 816w, 816d
- HTC Desire 610

Guys,

Is there a good Dual SIM CDMA phone with the below requirement in HTC's Desire or One line-up?

Slot-1 : CDMA - EvDo must work.

Slot-2: GSM - 3G must work (unlike in the E8, which supports only EDGE in Slot-2).

If not HTC, any other suggestions are also most welcome.

Thanks,

Vinay

Hi All,

Got to know that Reliance Launched Rev B signal as well with better coverage and connectivity.

Does HTC One DS support Rev B?

What needs to be done to get that signal?

Would appreciate any update and reply.

yes, but do take a backup of the stock rom coz getting back to stock is a struggle as not much development went in this dual sim indian model.

I have an imported model of 802 dual sim (not sure about country of origin).

Of late (since 4-5 days) I am experiencing this problem of network signal loss intermitently.

Now the frequency of signal loss has increased to once every few minutes.

Is any one else also facing similar issue? Any solution?

Hi Frnds,

Just had to switch from Reliance CDMA to  reliance 4G on HTC One M8 802d. The other 2G sim that I was using till date was idea.

Now I moved my idea sim which has 3G activated, to sim1 slot to enjoy 3G services and reliance 4G to sim2 slot, but to my dismay it does not detect 3G network.

Please guide, if I have missed any settings that need to be changed to get 3G connectivity. My other phone on idea 3G is getting signal in the same location, so its not a coverage issue.

Make network to global mode. Or try manually select network. If both doesn't work den u hav to do a factory reset. Me too had same problem. Factory reset solved it

Thanks Dr. Sparsh, the issue was with the settings only. The phone was not fetching APN directly. Had to manually do the same and it started working.
