the sun doesn't shine there, nor the moon and stars.all the light of world can't be compared even to a ray of inner light of the self.

merge yourself in this light of lights and enjoy the supreme Deepawali.

Happy Deepawali to U , Ur family & all ur friends.

One thing I noticed in my city Vadodara is that overall, amount of Crackers burnt this year is considerably less than last year as has been trend since last few years.

Really happy to see people waking up to reality and protecting the environment.

Happy Diwali to all Rimweb friends...

One thing I noticed in my city Vadodara is that overall, amount of Crackers burnt this year is considerably less than last year as has been trend since last few years.

Really happy to see people waking up to reality and protecting the environment.

As I am from Sivakasi the crackers city (even my close relative is one of the top three [among 1500+] fireworks manufacturer in Sivakasi India) I think I can clarify it a bit.. The decrease in crackers burnt is due to

[ 1 ] reduction in purchase power and inflation

[ 2 ] heavy increase in crackers cost (about 30 to 40% price hike this year)

[ 3 ] FW makers NOT ready to reduce their margin (so high cost) but low production (labor problems) saved them as demand supply gap is NOT wide.

Protection to environment is a side-benefit imho...
