Need Help to finalize a Quad Core, 1GB Ram and Under 10,000 GSM phone.

Recommended Posts

Hello Friends,

I want to buy a gsm handset and budget is10,000, looking for a configuration of Quad core, 1 GB ram and good battery backup. I have finalized following 2 models:

1. XOLO Q700 (selected above X800 due to battery power)

2. Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus

Please help me to choose better handset among these 2 handsets as well as suggest another good phone too.

Thanks,

Pramod

This one is one of the cheapest phone with such specs. Have no idea how good/bad it is.

Should be Rs 5,579 after using Ebay 7% Coupon.

If you can wait for awhile then its worth waiting for MOTOROLA Moto G. Its 8gb usa model price is roughly 10k.

It has quad core, 1 gb ram, good battery, attractive looks.

this seems cool at the price its been launched

This new phone has a 5.5” Large LCD Screen display which promises wider angles of view along with super smooth multi-touch interface for enhanced multimedia experience backed by Android Jelly Bean OS. The 16 million colour output display is definitely the killer feature of this device.

What else is there: The GPad-G3 is 9.8-mm thin and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor. The phone has a 5 MP auto focus back camera with LED flash. The camera supports HD Video recording. The dual-SIM phone is 3G and Wi-Fi capable. It is powered by a powerful 2250 mAh battery

Gionee GPad G3 price: Rs 9,999

Would rather suggest to get a good brand albeit dual core phone.

If warranty must then Xperia M otherwise imported may be RAZR xt912.

High end specs on paper is one thing.

But the most important thing we forget is how good is the network capability of the phone. In terms of catching the signal in poor network areas, call quality (voice clarity on both ends) and frequency of call drops. They mention everything but always nothing about network quality.

So, if possible, check that out or else, go for a little lower specced good brand phone.

You can wait but there is no chance you'll get Motorola G under Rs 10,000 which is the budget you mentioned. US price of $199 for 16GB is before taxes/US Shipping. Final US price should be around $230 translating to Rs 14,720. Add shipping to india/customs of approx Rs 2,000 making it around Rs 17,000. Official india launch price is also speculated above Rs 17,000.

Hey but if you buy Xolo, or Spice...beware of service support as one of my friend is using xolo...phone works good till nothing happens..if gets some fault..very poor service support...and Spice i personally use. In mumbai atleast difficult to get service center as mostly all closed. I suggest increase little budget and buy samsung quattro...

go for Xperia M Dual, available at flipkart in INR 11520 ( after SBI credit card 105 discount). Check benchmarks for this phone, way ahead of Samsung S2 or phones wid Mediatek quadcore processors. This is best phone you can get at this price point.

Lenovo A706 quad core, 1gb ram, 4.5 inches qhd screen.

Seems nice for just 9590/- eBay India

If you have sbi card then pick from flipkart, it's 9999/- so after 10% it will be 9k

Isn't it 10% on flipkart with sbi card? That should make 1152/- discount.

I saw spice coolpad 2 selling on eBay for just 6k.

It's quad core with 1gb ram, 4.5 inches qhd, 5mp camera. Dual SIM and 1700 mah battery.

Seems like a cool budget option.

Xolo handsets are good. They offer more than Samsung and are VFM. I recently bought Xolo Q700i.

Dear Rajanji and "::: VA :::", I dont like spice, had a very bad experience with them, not going for them.

@drabhayshah76 please share review of XOLO Q700i.

And @Rajanji Moto Q is listed on ebay.in around Rs. 16000, at same price predicted by you.
