For Both PRL & Data Dump Offline-A mode is a must else it wont stick. Which is not available in NV-Writer. I suggest using CDWS 2.7

All things sticks with offline A only.

Many people have issues with running cracked 2.7 , so nv writer and dfs is an workaround .

Guys using moto g and x on kitkat.

Please check if their play store shows Google play services and Google keyboard.

Even though they are pre installed but don't show directly.

But if you will go through chrome then play store will show pending update.

I was shocked and disappointed to see this.

There could be more such system apps and there should be a fix for this.

I also have a similar issue where it says EVDO is active but getting only 1X speed only.

you might not have evdo network in that particular area.

check in other parts of the city you live.

Had HTC EVO 3D about a year ago, and there used to be EVDO coverage then.. Also i stay in some Km range form DAKC. So that is not the issue.

Hope you have followed the steps given by Hitesh. Just go through the post #136 he has given for 3G data (follow the link below)

http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/36743-tutorial-how-to-flash-sprint-moto-x-any-moto-g-cdma-to-reliance-cdma/?p=309448

I was facing the same issue, my Moto G was showing 3G but the connection was very slow and in Settings - About - it was showing 1X only.

Does Unlocking, Rooting, Changing Kernel or ROM, Factory Reset affect Moto G's programming?

Thanks.

Bootloader unlock = NO change in Programing

Installing Recovery = NO change in Programing

Rooting = NO change in Programing

Kernel change = NO change in Programing [Kernel Should be compatible with your rom ]

ROM = NO change in Programing [ But depends on your ROM]

Factory reset without TWRP = Total loss

Factory reset with TWRP = NO change in Programing

i had already mentioned the way to update these system apps.

search the name in your phone browser like chrome.

in results when you click on the link for google play store.

it will trigger your play store with that app and update option.

I also have a similar issue where it says EVDO is active but getting only 1X speed only.

Mine was fixed by reprovisioning EVDO. If shooting a mail to Netconnect.Broadband@relianceada.com didnt help for you, PM me. I shall try to get it done by a friend in Reliance.

I was thinking of Porting my primary number to RCDMA and use Moto G. This Number is very important for me and I dont want to lose this Number at any cost.

Question that arises in my mind.

Moto G is CDMA phone without SIM, Can I transfer the number to a sim and vice versa as and when I require?

Can I transfer some other number to Moto G once activated for one number?

Are there any possibility of losing the number?

Is it advisable to port primary number to RCDMA?

Gurus Please help

Regards

Yes you can transfer sim number to moto g with the help of reliance webworld.

After u transfer moto g number to sim or to any other mobile, u can then have another number in moto g.

Very rare possibility of loosing ur number almost zero.

You can port any number to any operator . check with your original operator first

The 64 bit drivers do not work on Windows 8.1, found it the hard way post troubleshooting for 30 minutes. They work fine on Win 7 64 bit, tested the same and got my phone recognized.

Though, i am awaiting MEID registration for my Moto G, i am able to call *228 and the network is working.

The issue is that the signal drops often to 0 bars -> 4 bars -> 2 bars. It is not stable, is it an issue with Kitkat?

wait for the activation first.

have you put reliance prl on your phone. *228 works even out of box.

so the signals you are getting now can be irrelevant.
