Verizon or Boost has blocked hotspot feature. Can we use once we get on reliance network? Also which is the cheapest evdo plan at the moment for say 1gb in Madhya Pradesh? Sorry for noob questions.

Need some help!

i gave my moto g to a friend. Did a data wipe from recovery before giving.

But my friend did a factory reset anyways later (I guess that wipes the reliance settings) and then also accepted the 1.3mb update that was available. The phone now turns ON and immediately turns OFF and boots into TWRP recovery, trying to flash the update, but fails everytime. When I try to boot into system, the phone again turns off and boots into recovery, and this goes on and on everytime.

Please somebody tell me what to do as I have absolutely no idea how to proceed from here. :(

I dont even have a backup to restore. :(

turn off the phone, go to recovery manually from bootloader.

wipe catch and data, you can boot to normal andorid then

even if that dose not help you can try moto restore tool to get back to ver 173

but use moto restore tool as a last option as its more than 450mb.

thanks

WLL means wireless land line

Mostly given to people where they have issues with physical lines or no service are (which is almost zero now)

So roaming dose not make sense here. Still waiting for results.

Just an update :-

Moto G LTE will be coming to CDMA soon... That too with removable sim card (LTE)

@Admin / Mods

Requesting to make a different thread for BSNL WLL, or shift it to existing BSNL thread.

thanks

I just got a new number activated on my Moto G. Tried the steps mentioned in the slides, but couldn't get data to work (even with 1G). Also whenever I enable data, the phone would randomly reboot. Initially the calling was fine when the data was disabled but later only I could hear the other person and they could not hear me. So thought of redoing the programming.

I rewrote the SPC to 000000, but when I try to write the PRL (slide # 24), its asking to load the PRL file. Now from where can I get the PRL file?

Read the tutorial again, you need to get prl from dfs server if u don't have one.

Or just download prl from programing soft post and any other post for prl (there are many), and use in while doing Nam programing.

And if your phone is working fine for voice , start the tutorial from slide no 32.

Random reboots are not normal for moto g. Kindly keep a check and inform you seller now only . he might help.

You can get min from old phone or sim.

Or re-otaf request is required.

Min will come when you transfer number to this phone, only *228 is sufficient.

No need to manually feed min.

If its Verizon then it may require .

Will you give full details ??

You have not mention which model / carrier

No info about new activation or working phone

No info about error or actual issue faced

No one will be able to help you if you just say *228 not working .

Also have you checked that spc is correct and MEID is registered and clear for activation ?
