How to: Change mode from NV to RUIM in any CDMA Phone using DFS free version

Recommended Posts

@Vinod Nayak.

I got my Sprint LG G2 LS980 yesterday. Followed ur method of DFS & made NV to RUIM only. Transferred my number from NV handset to new microsim at WW. Calls & sms working. No EVDO data on the G2.

I noticed that there was a Sprint Sim in the sim slot when I received the phone. Does that account to anything?

Also, I read in your post that you have advised one member to change NV to RUIM Pref. Should I be,doing that too?

Please help to get EVDO data activated.

I haven't rooted or done any unlocking of GSM till now.

See if there is a carrier folder inside the carrier folder. Also while asking questions please mention which Baseband are you on.

Telephony.db will come back everytime the phone reboots. While doing the unlock we delete the files to reset the network values.

Do you even understand what I told you? On XDA, in pvts & earlier here. Telephony.db file cant be deleted permanently. The reason it's deleted while unlocking is to reset network values. Please take s carrier folder screenshot.

For the first time I am facing this strange problem. I just bought. LG G Flex from EBay, it is from Sprint LS955. Although it is programmed for OMH, when I insert Reliance SIM, it shows me network correct, it also allows me to make a first call. But when I make any call after first call, it does nothing. In order to make a call again, I have to restart the phone. After restarting, again first call will be successful, any call afterward will not be made.

Since this is world phone, GSM card works fine with this, problem only comes when I use Reliance OMH.

Does anyone have any idea ?
