Samsung Note 3 sprint USB not detecting

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Sprint.

I have flashed the handset for reliance and i have data and everything working.

Due to some issues in the handset, i factory reset it .

After factory reset, the PRL and MIN sticks, i am able to make calls and sms , DATA doesnt work .

When i try to connect the phone to system to write the NV Dump file, its not detecting the phone :(

It keeps on saying USB device not recognized. :(

Please let me know how to fix this ? .. Even MTP is not working :(

Help me.

Check the data cable and drivers.

Use different ports available or even try it on another computer, ofcourse you need to make sure that the cable isn't the fault at first(or any loose connections).

uninstall and re-install drivers.. Or uninstall device from device manager by right click menu and then reconnect to pc using usb cable..

Try it on another PC. check first if MTP is working. If not, cable issue!

There is no issue with the cable , its working fine with my samsung stellar.

When i connect the Note 3 to system , its getting charged, thats the only operations happening.

Other than that, No MTP or diag.

I literally tried, everything from reset to uninstall drivers to re-installing OS even no luck .

I did i bricked my device ? .. or something wrong with my USB port ?

I tried to reflash the OS my putting in ODIN mode, there was USB not detected.

Is there any way to freshly flash the rom without ODIN mode ?

mostly looks like your phone's usb port is not working properly.

clean it with good brush and check again.

same issue was there in one lot of s2 gsm.

You said the same cable is working with Stellar, that means you are using the older USB 2.0 cable. Try using the original Note 3 cable, which is USB 3.0 type and I hope that you won't face any issues.

Tried with the original cable ... Still No luck. :( ...

Can any one tell me, is there a way to write the NV dumps or EVDO parameters to the phone without datacable ?

Is there any applications for it ? or in the system level can we update this any place ?

let me know.

Unfortunately, you need system to flash the files. As hiteshji suggested, the usb port is not working properly. You need to get it repaired.

The only doubt i have is , my phone can charge via datacable and mains ... But when i want to connect to DM or MTP there is no response.

Going to samsung service center to change the port.

Will keep you posted.

Check the other Note 3 thread.

Making it work with OMH is quite simple. That too on 4.4.2
