Blackberry Q10 -- CDMA

Recommended Posts

Guys,

I got the data working on Reliance CDMA with my Q10.

You need to do some modifications in E SCREEN to make the data running.

How to access Escreen : http://crackberry.com/how-access-engineering-screen-blackberry-10

once you are in the Escreen windows.

Go To General Radio

Enabled Rat : CDMA!X+EVDO.

Hybrid Preference : ON

Hybrid Preference Status : CDMA+HDR.

APN: vzwinternet

Set Auto data : ON.

This will help in getting the data up.

You will see 3G and 1X.

Hi Sunil,

the solution is listed in the comments section of that same link posted above by user "jjkool"

Finally, so I've been googling for hours and finally found the tidbit I needed!! For some reason when entering the code into the escreen:// the ALT logo wasnt appearing - so no numbers were being entered.

Q10 Solution:

1) access escreen://

2) Create a book mark to escreen:// in the browser

3) Battery pull restart the device

4) Do not touch the keyboard !! go into escreen via shortcut

5) Alt key now works!!

I agree. I tried this with 3 different versions - 10.3.0.x, 10.2.2.x, 10.1.2.x.. 10.3.1.x doesn't allow you to access the escreen, so I didn't try that..

The data service seems to work perfectly for the GSM networks. I tried Airtel prepaid and it was working perfectly.

I am told you need special Reliance CDMA SIM to get this to work with a Blackberry phone from Verizon.

That is referring to the older Blackberry models which required BIS. I confirmed with another seller who is selling these sim cards with Blackberry z10 and q10 from Verizon.

janab vahid saab.. will surely inform the forum, when & IF i get RGE series RUIM @ Rs. 4.

The price i quoted (Rs. 4) is the price to which RCom bills blank RUIMs to Distributors (irrespective of series).. Last when i bought 50 RUIMs in Sept. or Oct. 2014, i paid only 200 Rs. those were all RECRUC06XXX series precut Micro RUIMs. :)

Well, the fact is that people who have the RGExxx series cards are selling them at a premium to those who want them. And 200 rupees is worth it if you are getting that universal compatibility to the handset of your choice.
