Recommended Posts

Hello, I just became an owner of a Nexus 10. when I first time connect to my BSNL Teracom wifi router it is not connected. it is always showing connecting or obtaining IP address...

It connected through my S3 Hotspot but not through teracom router :(

all my phones including a Samsung s3, tab neo and also my laptop all are switches automatically connected to the wifi router.

I wake up in the morning and just press again the connect button. Bingo...it is connected..!!! Not understand why it is behaving like this. I am not done any changes in routers settings also. Is it not connecting b'coz the routers frequency mismatch or anything else ?? Also worried if I am facing this issue in the feature what could be the solution ?

Best solution is to go to sleep and when you wake up everything works fine !!

In high "technical" term we call it turning off and on !

Hitesh Bhai I think I have to find out this "High Technical term - On and Off" for my router :P may be it is 3 - 4 years old that's why I am having this problem.

No. Try assigning static ip and check if it works.

I did a reservation in my router or u can assign a static ip towards the end of your router dhcp range

It is an known issue with nexus series. google it !

since u can connect laptop,

when it is connected to wifi,

goto Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections

IPv4 Address: 192.168.1.1
IPv4 Default Gateway:
IPv4 DNS Servers:
then use some app like this
and create a profile. add above entry.
for IPv4 Address, change last number to say 30
for example, 192.168.1.30
activate this profile and try connecting again.
change to dynamic ip when u are using different wifi.
