Atleast follow the tutorial which is already posted by hitesh for newbies convenience.

And you cant do anything until and unless you have MIN no.as you havent noted down it. Even reprogramming the phone wont solve your issue. As you dont know your MIN. (In this case the no.is already on his phone and MIN is not known to the user).

Shreesh, I had followed the tutorial and tried to programme my phone. Since I am using DFS demo software so the server PRLs are not avaliable to me and I wrote some wrong PRL to my phone.

So to avoid any further confusions, I wanted to be sure of what am doing .... I did not mean to annoy anybody by asking stupid questions ....

PRL from first link

Reliance PRL no - 5

Thanks a lot ....

After updating to 4.4.4 on boost moto g, we cannot downgrade Modem and Boot loader . we can only downgrade system (main os) to 4.4.2

This won't help in getting SPC.

Any one looking for spc should not upgrade to 4.4.4.

Trying to downgrade bootloader will result in brick.

Trying to downgrade modem will result to no signal even after correct PRL. Your modem will show as unknown.

Today I just bricked my moto g trying to downgrade to 4.4.2 bootloader.

After using factory bootloader I was able to bring my moto g to life.

So this is warning to every one looking to downgrade from 4.4.4 to4.4.2

Only OS can be downgraded ,

Modem(baseband) and bootloader cannot be downgraded .

So till now there is no solution for SPC after updating to4.4.4 .

:D

If your phone is boost dial ##3424# enter spc and enable diag mode.

If it is Verizon , go to bootloader and boot phone with bp tools.

You should get Motorola QC diag port.

Dear Hitesh Ji

Is there any tutorial available as to how to perform a data dump?

Also I haven't received any OTG yet, system update always shows Software up to date, what could be the reason?

Didn't get you, how to perform data dump ?

You want to create data dump? Or want to write data dump to phone ?

For update you should be on complete stock , then only u can install ota updates.

What about OTG ?

Dear Hitesh ji

Yes, I'm talking about creating data-dump. I bought the phone from Reliance eShop so I think they will not be in a position to provide me a data-dump.

And, yes I'm on complete stock but I can see the phone is rooted cause there seems to an app with red diamond.

Thank you

Ha! Sorry about the typo it is indeed OTA.

Hi Hitesh,

I did the big mistake of upgrading from 4.4.2 (boost moto g) to 4.4.4, without taking note of spc and other details
my phone is not rooted. After update there was no signal from Reliance for obvious reasons.
I did PRL update as you described in below presentation:
I used the Moto g ver3_final presentation.
I have not done the data dump write and HDR part coz I dont hv data dump.
After PRL update my phone is now catching Reliance Signal but I am not able to make any call/sms.
What so I need to do now?
Do I again need to go to Reliance Web World to activate/register my phone (MEID) to MDN?
If I need to go to web world again what all details I should ask from them so that I need not be in such situation again?
Thanks for your kind help. It really helps a lot. Thanks.
Anish
