How To Unlock iPhone 4S for GSM use?

My sister in law has sent an iphone 4s which my wife plans to use

when i insert the vodafone sim , it says the sim is not supported. basically the phone is locked to verizon.

Does anybody have a solution to unlock it to work with GSM ?

Verizion iphone 4 doesnt have sim slot.

EDIT : it is iphone 4s and not 4 so you may be correct.

here is the picture. i tried with vodafone and dolphin, both were not accepted by the phone.

For CDMA iPhone 4S (i.e Verizon, Sprint). You need some kind of R-SIM/ GEVEY . I don't remember exact name. But you can't simply pop-in your GSM SIM card.

EDIT : If you can contact your relatives in US. Try this : https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/696707

If not, Try the GEVEY method

can you guide me from where to buy ? Also will this be a fool proof method ? I tried cherry unlock 0.1.1 version with no success :(

i am havin same model

use rsim 7+ or rsim 9 pro

both works fine.

went to gafar and R sim 9 pro is what made it work.

Will Rsim 9 work on a Sprint iPhone 4S as well? I am on 7.0.3 as of now.
