Reliance CDMA Network Upgrade To 4G LTE

Recommended Posts

I am a Delhi subscriber. I have a Reliance CDMA prepaid and a RCDMA postpaid. I have to go out of town for 20 days, will the sim be available in Bihar? Or can I get one through courier and get it activated there?

I am travelling day after tomorrow.

Free 10GB Data on Upgrade to LTE for Postpaid as well as Prepaid.

Postpaid user shall get by default.

Prepaid user for recharge with FRC(Circle Specific)

Prepaid user shall get additionally 150 Minutes Free to All India + R2R All India Free apart from 10GB.

For Delhi Users; I shall be providing the LTE Sims Online. So stay tuned to RIMweb.in

For what duration will we get "R2R All India Free"?

I am still confused about what will happen to our existing RCDMA plans/call rates?

The 4G upgrade is going to based on RGSM for voice. Eventually GSM customers will also get 4G, may be sometime later.

Network in my phone has gone pathetic. Call drop, low voice have become a permanent issue. BTW, just received Redmi Note 3 and it is working well with Reliance CDMA including Data

Dont you think that network issues are with rn3 and not with reliance???

I got a call yesterday from Reliance asking me to port to RGSM 3G and offering me ****ty plan.

Unlimited 3G Data with 1GB FUP and Some free calls.

Currently I've

Rs.199 Monthly plan (1p/sec Outgoing (all India), 1p/sec on Roaming (incoming/outgoing)

Rs. 11 for 1p/sms (100sms per day limit)

Rs. 600 for Data ^^

Will the same plan be migrated to LTE if I do not agree to those tele callers offers?

Aa gayi bhai logo, aa gayi....lolz

Reliance%204G%20sim%2026-04-2016_3_zpsdc

Reliance%204G%20sim%2026-04-2016_2_zpsnw

Reliance%204G%20sim%2026-04-2016_1_zpskt

The amount taken per sim is Rs. 25/- (sim cost) + 97/- for 4G Recharge which includes UNLIMITED local and std Reliance calls + 150 minutes of Local & STD calls + 1GB Data for 30 days. These benefits start immediately on existing CDMA sim/number. It is a modern pre-cut sim which you can use in any phone (no need to get it cut from outside). Then you need to sms 4G<space><19 digit 4G sim number> to 1299 from existing cdma sim and you will get a confirmatory message that Dear Customer, your request for 4G upgrade has been registered on SIM <number>. We will update you regarding upgrade. Thank you. RCOM.

Please note that the 4G sim is yet NOT ACTIVATED and you can't use it. They are saying that it should be activated max by 5th May. After activation you get an additional 10GB 4G data for one month besides the above benefits.

So that is the exercise till now.

Cheers...

Yup, the additional 97 Rs. is for the Prepaid numbers I have. No porting allowed from outside for the time being as only existing RCDMA numbers are being transferred.
