Hi Rajan,

It looks like the Lava X11 & the Xolo Era X are identical handsets. The Xolo is around 1200 cheaper. Maybe they are made by the same manufacturer?

Check out the specs.

In the handsets offered by paytm, Band 3 and Band 40 are common. so we can assume that whatever handset has both band 3 & 40 for LTE will work with RCOM 4G.

Hi. I am new to the Forum. I am using a Verizon Moto Droid Maxx and a Sprint HTC 626 and a LG Tribute. Will I be able to use any or all of the above handsets with the 4G simcards and will I be able to use 4G on the same. I think the Tribute is a CDMA only handset but on the Moto Max and the HTC 626 Gsm sims also work.

Thanks in advance.

Rcom Still has not given any specification for the HANDSETS?

LOTS OF CONFUSION.

Is anybody using SCH-R530U ( US CELLULAR  SAMSUNG GALAXY S3) ?

It is a CDMA 4G LTE phone.

It is a CDMA 4G LTE phone.

There is a difference between cdma 4g phones and normal 4g phones

U can use 4g sim only if the network selection has exclusive lte mode only and not cdma/lte mode

Just pop a airtel 4g sim and check it yourself

If airtel works in your handset then 4g will also work for you

In my sprint phone when i put a airtel 4g  sim it does show network but shows that phone is in international mode

ZTE plans manufacturing unit in India to introduce VoLTE smartphones.

http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/tech/hardware/zte-plans-manufacturing-unit-in-india-to-introduce-volte-smartphones/articleshow/52352942.cms

The interesting part in this article is that it mentions ZTE  has supplied 6 lakh handsets to LYF.

LYF is also sourcing from

CK Telecom

Wingtech

Tinno

Do I have to get a 4G phone post migration to the 4G network, or will a regular GSM phone work as well? My main use is only calling and sms (nothing else). Plus, I don't really like Android smartphones (I've been a dumbphone user for several years, so prefer those for utility).

I was happy with my CDMA phone but since we are compelled to move now, I simply want to retain my existing number but don't require the extras of 4G. Just calling and sms is my sole purpose. Will any GSM phone suffice in this scenario?

Yes, even the basic handset would do, provided R-GSM has 2G network at your place.

Dear All,

I was using Samsung S6 Edge SM-G925P Sprint  unlocked for Reliance CDMA with a special sim for data working.

Recently after getting call from reliance, i like to upgrade to 4G service but then i have to switch to GSM operator

Can anybody let me know is data will work on phone?? as previously it was working with special sim only.

Waiting for you answer and help
