Recharge Types Don't Exist - Anyone seeing this error?

Recommended Posts

I migrated my prepaid mobile from CDMA to 4G. Migration was successful but when I try to recharge through the Rcom site, I keep getting an error message that recharge types don't exist.

This problem happens only during mobile recharge. I'm able to recharge my prepaid dongle (data card) as usual.

Is anyone else facing the same error? This has been happening for a week so far.

Mobikwik has separate options for Reliance CDMA and GSM

The recharge values and benefits are different in both cases, adding to the confusion. Should we recharge as per GSM plans or the old CDMA plans?

i wish Rcom site was functional so we don't have to experiment elsewhere.

May be because all are supposed to get 10 GB free data for first 30 days

Mobikwik seems like the only functional recharge site right now for prepaid mobile recharge.

However, only CDMA recharge works now but not GSM (even though 4G migration is supposed to be into GSM). Also, the CDMA recharge options have only talktime recharge but no data plans.

I tried changing to GSM (which have data plans) and recharging but got an error. So I was forced to select CDMA and do a talktime recharge, and use that for data. It's more expensive and not an efficient option.

Recharge option through InstaCare is showing an error.

I'm wondering when will those who migrated from CDMA be able to recharge from Rcom itself.

Upto last month, the old CDMA recharge values were working. This month paytm refunded the transaction. Then tried with GSM recharge value,. Recharge was successful.

Recharge Values have been updated on Reliance Website for Instant recharge and also on recharge section of Instacare app. However no data pack available as of now.

If I go to Rcom website , enter my number under Instant recharge section it gives me option to recharge.  Similar in Instacare. Mumbai circle.

Probably in all circle except Delhi, the migrated 4G users are still unable to latch on to 4G network of either RCom/JIO.
