I had done 1₹ recharge before migration. Also I had added ₹30 to core balance.

Today, after many days thought of checking if there is data speed improvement.

Guess what: my balance is zero.

So, I have not got the post migration benefit for calling and for data.

I checked data recharge options today on the Rcom site and saw that only 1 voucher is available as of now -- Rs 98 voucher for 1GB data valid for just 2 days.

Its nowhere. You can only see in Rcom website's 4G page under Mumbai circle's Prepaid Voice >> Minute Packs.

Check the post below for details:

http://www.rimweb.in/forums/topic/37711-reliance-cdma-network-upgrade-to-4g-lte/?do=findComment&comment=329885

You can recharge using FreeCharge, PayTM etc.

Looks like RCom has closed that loophole (FRC benefits for booster recharge) as well, now...

Not for all circles and numbers. Mine still says, recharge type didn't exist or denomination not valid
When I spoke to local office here, a guy i know confirmed that by July end they are expecting to launch all plans of upgraded network.

Is there any way to activate the 4G data packs via SMS with deduction from existing talktime?

Call Customer care and ask them to activate using your balance.

In GSM 3G the USSD code string *777*<pack value># works. My 4GLTE prepaid SIM is not getting any data, not even 2G so must be needing a "patch". So can not try the option.

I think 3G packs are not valid for 4G users as they are treating 3G data and 4G data pool separately.

thats why I simply stated the generic string. it might work with the <pack value> as per rates indicated for 4G

This is for everyone. Recharge can be done through instacare app or paytm choosing rgsm . Though voucher value should be as it shows in instacare app.

But important bit is even though 198 says contrary, you can extend validity of your remaining 10gb data from promo by doing any 3g data recharge.
