Rs.9999 is too much ! Try at a local dealer as he may be able to give a better price if he is willing to decrease his profit margin a bit.

reliance website enlists that it supports midi ringtones silent abt MP3.

nokia.co.in says:

24-chord polyphonic ringing tones (MIDI)

QCELP & MP3 ringing tones

does phone actually support MP3?

I don't like nokia phone because they do not have all R World functionality. The price of NOKIA phone is not maintain according their feature. They are not value for money!

Thanks and Take Care!

But if u consider basic purpose of mobile phones today nokia cdma phones provides best battery backup & signal strength than any other companies after their failure quite sometime before (at d time of nokia 2280 & also with gsm for their quality of handsets).

seems to be a good phone. May be little over priced, but thats the premium one has to pay for Nokia.

This is because the prices of the phone is not the same all over the country, infact not the same in calcutta also. e.g: i asked the R WEb World the price of Nk 6255 they told me 12800/- and also they cannot provide me the data cable. But just opposite the Web world, there was a Nk Priority DEaler i approached him, he gave me the hand set for 12200/- and Data cable for 500/-. So that is the reason why they dont publish MRP's. :confuse:

I want to know whether I can store mp3 and aac songs and play it like I do in 6255.
