What Internet Connection Are You Using?

How do you connect to the net ? what company, how much costs / mothly limits etc?

I tried searching earlier discusions, coudnt really find the approp thread... only casual mentions in random posts.

Im currently using Tata VSNL broadband - 256 kbps - unlimited - Rs. 1130/month (w tax)

I am on MTNL 256 Kbps unlimited.

It costs me 1236 Rs/Pm

I am on Airtel mobile office.Unlimited use for daily deduction of rs 10.Edge network. Maximum i got 20KBPS download speed.

bsnl 500 plan 2mbps 2.5gb/month 2am-8am unlimited download. Download speed above 260KBPS on rapidshare

Bsnl 700 business plan 2mbps 4gb/month

BSNL Plan 500 2mbps at Rs 500 pm plus taxes Night 2AM to 8AM free, 2.5GB d/l per month.

Speeds are good, service is down about 3 to 4 times a month. Billing no problems as such.

MTNL triband 256 kbps with cap of 1gb data transfer and night unlimited. all for 599/month.

looking for something better with unlimited data transfer..

Same scheme here ...but am seriously considering migrating to the Rs. 500 per month plan as paying Rs. 1,000 per month just for internet is a tad expensive... and that too @ 256 kbps!

Backup connection: Reliance BroadNet - Prepaid - 300 kbps up/down - unlimited data transfer - Rs.40 per day

Wireless connection: Reliance NetConnect - Freedom plan - average 60 - 100 kbps - 1 GB data transfer - Rs.650 + tax per month

I use VSNL unlimited plan which gives 80Kbps Speed and charges are 2200/- per 6months including taxes

Connection 1: Airtel Unlimited 256Kbps. getting around 30KBps download speed

Connection 2: Tata indicom broadband 2Mbps with hourly limit. Early morning speeds reach 230KBps and about 20-40KBps during other times

I am using Airtel broadband 256kbps 200mb/month during day & unlimited surfing during nite(9pm-8am)+ 100 pulses free on the phone.

Rent Rs 350/- + taxes.

Excellent plan for home use.

m on Dial Up..yes u heard it ryt m on dialup..

but wil b soon switchin to Broadband :(

there's no need to be shy to tell that u r on dial up as many so called 'broadbands' give worse speed than dial up. :Contento:

so true. i have mtnl triband and it is giving me 20kbps. I start a download of abt 100mb and go to sleep by the time it is abt to finish, i wake up and start another download..and again go to.....

how come you have got bsnl connection in mumbai? or is it a silly question.

ny1 using MTNL unltd plan of Rs999 with speed of 256Kbps, my cozin uses this 1 but he actually gets the speeds which 2MBPS connections receive, this is for MTNL delhi.

Do others too get similar speeds? coz i wanna change my connection from Airtel but it gives only 256 kbps(as its suppposed to).

BSNL postpaid only rs. 149 Per Month unlimited internet,

speed 115.2 kbps,

downloading speed approx 5-6 kbps,

good for email and chatting
