I see only too problems with CDMA players are that 1. Lack of good handsets compared to GSM, and 2. Lack of comparable data plans. the second point is solely depends on CDMA players, why the hell they are not aggressive on this front?

Indeed reliance CDMA is not adding any new coverage areas. but that is purely, because they have lost business sense. I am pretty happy with the stability of the CDMA network.

Royalty is just 2% so it should be in the range of 140-160 Rupees for a Rs.7K-8K phone. The premium pricing is due to lesser number of sales of CDMA handsets compared to GSM.
