  1. Hi Guys... Got into this problem recently and still hunting for a solution. Product: Motorola Droid HD (XT926) Carrier: Verizon Status: Unlocked, Singel SIm, works on both GSM and CDMA Sim Cards Problem Statement: Bought from: Ebay (from a new seller) PROBLEM STATEMENT: Bought this phone and it was running 4.2 android version, everything was working great, for the first time I experienced a fell a little more than a nexus prime. While my mobile data was on some update came and took a long time, I was not able to stop the data update aswell. After the update Mobile data stopped working however it works file with a GSM Sim, and I am on Reliance CDMA and I dont want to change it to GSM. Resolution: <<TBD>> Still hunting, some one told me that a Special SIm Card which is released by Reliance in Mumbai and Vizag will be suitable to enable data work on the latest android version? However not sure. Anyone any clues on this? Please share... Thx in adv!
  2. Handset suggestion (CDMA + GSM dual sim)

planning to buy a XT1080, specs look good and looks stunning and its by Motorola. Its a CDMA/GSM model with 4G, the last time I saw ebay had a listing of 15999. and now its all gone
  3. I broke my sprint nexus....hence want to upgrade to a nice one....max budget is 15K.. however can stretch a lil I also heard that there are a few phone that are (by default) CDMA and GSM ready for all networks finding it real hard to get to know about them.... and this time I dont want to go for a non-sim phone Can any one suggest me a feature rich and efficient phone which is either CDMA+GSM [or] CDMA/GSM
  4. Reliance CDMA on Sprint Galaxy Nexus LTE

Thanks a lot for the quick reply... I was just going to bid for one on ebay and it would have been a disaster. Thanks again !!! +10000000 Also one more thing - what about the verizon one... I guess same chipset ... so same issues ?? Hi, I bought two phones, Verizon nexus and Sprint Nexus CDMA non Sim, got programmed by a right guy, in Verizon the data is not working, (programmer looking into it) other things r super in Sprint everyhitng is working just fine, but recent ly got an OTA update, I did not do it, instead i removed it from Cache, later I've been getting problems of loosing calls abruptly with a msg 'Radio Off' -> Call Lost -> then network goes off completely and come back in 2 or 3 seconds time, just now got my radio updated with latest release of the same radio only (FC12) but alas, it did not address the problem. Lastly, I dont think if there is a phone at this range that caN be better than a nexus Having said this, we cannot live with a phone that does not give us its full, data sms calls everything is now a necessity and impacts many vital things... hence planning for a brand new sealed sim based mobile - preferrably CDMA (Reliance is the best)
  5. finally i was able to get hold of my programmer, he told me that 'Radio Off' call lost problem might not be due to radios however he changed the radio to fc12 (updated one) using adb programming. I thought everything is now ok, but alas! the problem still persists
  6. Did you try? Yes some time the network signal goes off - it wont come back until I reboot - this started happening during system update pop ups - but not its not happening that usual however when i got up today morning the network was not at all there, after rebooting i got full network. wondering what could be? is it the radios? gosh! the effect is still there, 'the network goes off' problem still exists.. I just received a call from my Dad, I kept the phone on speaker and observed that I got a msg 'Radio Off' and followed by 'Call Lost' and then the network disappeears simultaneously and this would not come back till I reboot - Hiteshji you can understand how important communication is.... need your extertise to fix this asap.... kindly advice

  8. If u have locked bootloader, non rooted, system and both radio on same version and stock recovery then onlyy update will be successful on otaOtherwise it will fail! tapatalking..... Great!Y'day I anyway had all my patience dried with the annoying pop up of System Updates, so took a back phone made it ready and took a chance and installed...some things happened and finally my phone rebooted, and it was normal Thanks to you hitesh my programmer did not even have this basic knowledge of suggesting this.... i have one more nexus (verizon) which my bro loves.... this guy programmed that too but data does not work on that and my bro gives me a hard look even now.... ... i paid him a lil extra than what was decided and trusted him.... but it all goes in vain... Did you try?
  9. Thanks for the inputs, am not too sure abt how to do these.. but will try. I still kind of have a wierd question: If I allow the Samsung Update to my Sprint L700 what will be the impact?
  10. Two Issues: [1] System Update I recently got my Sprint Nexus L700 programmed to reliance. Its just been a couple of days and I am receiving a System Update pop up almost 30 times a day.... the person who programmed the phone told me 'not to update' Hence I need expert's advice as to how i can remove the updates or stop getting that update. Appreciate the help. [2] Device not recognised When I connect my device it does not get recognised to my Laptop/desktop... it neither does any charging when connected.. it says INTF2 driver could not be installed
