The copy that comes with Dell is OEM version. You cannot activate on other laptops of Dell as well. There is some check on even the hardware specs. If you do some major changes in the original Dell laptop, even then sometimes the copy won't authenticate. I am telling this from some research I had done while I had installed a new HD on my Dell that came with XP Home preloaded.

The .ly domain does a wonderful job in describing the app.

Interesting, will give it a try.

Why would you need a killer or call it a killer for a device that is yet to prove its success.

Palm could be the first victim of the Android onslaught.

Well the thanks post is usually different from +/-. In that option you can see names of the people under the post itself. This eliminates the need to specify "+1 for you ..." in a separate post.
+/- can be used for repping at most.

The US market loves its flip phones, so must be popular amongst males to I guess.

I am also unhappy with this 160 char limit, when most GSM handsets, even the basic ones, handle LMS so flawlessly. I am particularly annoyed with the SMS client on my 755P. It s*cks, except for the chat mode - which is cool. That said i am not an avid LMSer, so I can live with it.

what is the duration of the license on Kaspersky?

Yup you said it.
Plus I also don't see any incentives provided to switch to e-bill over paper. If freebies such as itemized bill or discounts are provided, then I would gladly switch to e-bill.
I think it is just a sham that all paper billers try to convince you on the name of environment to switch to e-bill. It's all got to do with the bottom line becoming greener rather than the environment.

Well, if there is an IR port on the phone then with the right software it could work as a remote control too.

I don't use MS Office on my home laptop, don't see much use for it. Open Office does the trick. Plus not sure if I have ever opened anything besides a simple word doc or a simple spreadsheet (nothing that OO cannot handle) on the home laptop.
How about you guys, do you see much use of the MS Office suite on the home PC?
I have to agree that given the right price, I wouldn't mind paying for it - rather than use a pirated copy - if there is some use for it.
Office laptop obviously came loaded with the professional version.

Several BB connections from corporates (corporates are the biggest users of BB) allow only data, voice is not allowed. I have a frnd who works for citi and its true for them AFAIK.

Sent from company network. May be tata or reliance.

They have a fabulous system of giving out a free (to use) Wifi router when you take the subscription. They claim it is based on "4G" technology and instead of giving you internet through a USB plugin, it's through this Wifi router.
They had installed their equipment on our society terrace. But there was some supposed issue in payments they were to make to society, so currently it is not working in our building. Eager to try it out though.

Its an Apple, what did you expect?

I think Dr. Gagan has made some excellent suggestions.
The posts here are more about buy/sell being a bone of contention than anything else - quite different from what the OP intended. Haven't we discussed By/Sell issues in the past too?

Well if its for data only then I should be good. Dad is more than content with a phone. I dont even see the MP3 or the 2MP camera put to good use. . The most important feature for him was that the phone has 99 speed dial.

Don't you get chinese DVD players with USB and component out at this price?
Shouldn't this product which has lesser in terms of hardware, be cheaper?
