^^^^ I think to get EVDO u need to have BIS as already said By Dr. Mufaddal, my cousin having same handset with EVDO active also he is on 299/- BIS plan i think thats why EVDO is active and moreover with tweak to run browser i also applied on official BB8330 and browser started working :)

Friends as already asked in the post , is there any way out to use BB official applications like facebook, gtalk, yahoo msngr WITHOUT BIS/BES. Well i tried to manage to get service books of gtalk / yahoo messenger but it was not connected, whereas without service books it gave error that service for this handheld not available. So i think one thing i have just crossed but need to knw second way out if possible ....

Just Read the topic !!!! I m already using BB8830 as modem with reliance net/rconnect successfully working with both data cable and Bluetooth (bluetooth DUN is very easy to install than by data cable but speed is less while using with bluetooth). So why do we need Hacker help for ???
