Dear Kesav, thanks for your modification of post, I found this handset very appealing, i can see youtube video without any break on 1x network let alone rev a. the only problem is I am not able to transfer my no to OMH sim, I have used handset change card but in vain. could you help in this matter. thanks in advance Friend due to fraud cases in Number swapping, HCC cards are of no use now in many states.... It is suggested to u to get ur number swaped from nearest webworld to ur OMH sim, also go with complete documentation like ur id card/photograph as they will ask u for it. Fraud case with one of my uncle happened a year back. He recieved a call on his cell that this is call from reliance you have been gifted talktime of 200/- and for getting that u need to dial a number from ur mobile ..... and You know what was that number ....... That number was *229+HCC card no. Perhaps my uncle dialed that no. and his no. was gone away but that was restored from webworld later on... so due to these type of fraud cases reliance has closed number swapping thru HCC.

hoping for nokia to launch EVDO enabled handsets....

few years back i was successfull in running LG low end fones with greenish yellow light in screen as modems one of them i remember is LG2530 model.... Actually this was possible with a special type of data cable available in market that time.. this cable was unique kind of as it worked as usb to serial port converter, this cable got detected as a hardware whenever i inserted usb into laptop/pc that too without connecting to fone at other end of cable, also one need to install cable drivers instead of fone drivers, it used fone as connected to serial port and also old rconnect software was used to connect fone as modem successfully, i m talking abt that rocnnect software which connected as serial port and asked to dial *412 for activation of rconnect. i hope u guys remeber that ....if currently this type of cable is available in market then it may be possible to connect low end lg fones to be connected as modem successfully ....

i hope we can use our OMH sims activated with evdo facility from backend on this micromax modem if available...

Friends i was wondering why RELIANCE is not starting voice/sms service on HSD DATA Cards.. When it is easily possible. Yes we can open dialers and sms options in their netconnect software provided with hsd but need to have service activated. Also is it possible to activate call/sms services on HSD data cards from backend ???

i have also experienced such cahnges in speed with my cousin's official blackberry, normal speed kept on table was increased to duble when hanged on laptop screen
