hi.... me using spb pocket plus's inbuilt theme...

hey hetal... i tried making the new connection after having installed opera on the device... used the cellular line with the username and pass being my rim number... leaving domain as blank... firstly there are constant screen messages of "lucknow" and then some error saying it was unable to get mobile ip... net result i can browse net on the xv6700 using rconnect... i have to travel later today and dont wanna carry the laptop so pls help me get this going... thx

after having sifted the net forum after forum for making my bt stereo headphones work on xv6700... i finally succeeded today so i thought i'd place this info here for the benefit of those wanting to give this a try... firstly u need the necessary hardware... namely stereo bt headphones... there are plenty in the market and a great thread on this topic is http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6700-xv...adphones-5.html i own a jabra bt620s and i must say its a great buy all said and done... great sound for bass lovers like me... costs b/w $80-120 and their over the ear design works for me as i dont like the ones that go inside the ear... then to the software... assuming u running aku 3.5 which comes with the a2dp hack already... here is what u need to do further... first the registry edits... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd Add "Priority256 "= dword:60 (Use Dword Value) HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Bluetooth/AudioGateway/Capability (Dword:69)(Default is 37) HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Bluetooth/AD2P/Settings/BitPool (Dword: 60)(Default is 30) Keep in mind that if one of the above entries is not present, you will have to add them now ud need to upgrade to a music player which works best with this profile... its called pocket music (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-pocketmusic-freeware-mp3-player.html) and its available free after a registration over the net... and ur done !!!

thanks sadik... i installed the sardi's aku 3.5pr6... liked it for a bit specially with wisbar n all... but realised ppc was slower than my liking so finally moved to kervins no junk... however having installed activesnyc somehow cripples my wi-fi network at home... some conflict it causes and i have to reboot after removing the cable from lappy only to make it operational again... apart from that all is good... having fun discovering a couple of hacks an all...

thx again hetal... the issue got resolved !!! and am now runnign sardi's rom... i like it quite a bit... though still findiing my way around it but still looks pretty good... have to resolve the activesnyc issue where it cripples my laptops wifi and that inturn spoils the wifi network at home... what am i doing wrongly... besides i have these stereo bt headphones... jabra bt620s and i know that these 3.5 roms have the a2dp hack but somehow when i pair these headphones i can hear stereo sound for a call but no music... what could be the reason... know abt skipping issues in wmp so have tried using mortplayer too but to no luck whatsoever... music resides on the 2gb card...

as much as it s**ks... id advise u to visit the webworld with your frnd and let them see the phone and take a complaint for it...

nahin it aint gsm as I'm running it now nd matter of fact posting from the phone... looking forward to those goodies coming our way...

thx petar... i found it thru ppcgeeks and it worked... but somehow this wifi at home being paralysed becoz of activesync is bugging... havnt installed activrdync again after that... dunno what to do... Dj

hi... I tried the 3.5 upgrade too... certain issues came up... 1. saddemon.exe missing dialogue opens up when the customization begins 2. contacts have disappeared. when selected yeilds nothing 3. selecting the phone key mekes the signal disappear for a bit and the dialer returns to the today screen instead of allowing one to dial 4. somehow ever since I installed activesync my wifi on laptop refuses to connect and as a result cripples my home network completely ... foxed nd looking for answers... though I like the added agility onn the phone but... DJ

now that is a serious issue Sadik... i tried on two different machines and i still cant upgrade... it shows as starting the upgrade but then almost immediately shows a confirmation i dunno how... Dj

TATA SKY delivers better pic quality IMHO... i would suggest you to go with it... no use paying three months less rental on wasted pic quality... which tv do you use anyways? Dj

worked great for me too... great really... so for the new comers who wanna use the nokia 6235... well google cable driver for dku - 2 (you would find it on the nokia site) install it first then on the same page d/l the modem driver (an .inf file) and then click on install and ur set...
